PARK CITY AND EXTREME TUBING!

October 8-10, 2015

My sweet friend Shelli Hunger got us a suite at the Marriott in PARK CITY. So I went up on Thursday night with my friends Leslie, Janice and Cozette, and we picked MaryAnn up from the airport so she could be with us all weekend. We stayed up late talking. The next morning Kris came up. We went to the OLYMPIC PARK because Janice and Leslie wanted to check out the EXTREME TUBING. Unfortunately Leslie had to leave early to go back down to Kaysville so they didn't have time to do it so they will do it tomorrow. We took a few fun pics while there:

Here we are at the Bobsled. I love this pic!

This is so cute of Janice and Shelli

Here I am with the statues of the dudes that made Alta Ski Resort
                                            Cozette, Shelli, MaryAnn and Me.
                                                               Leslie
                                                             Cozette
 Shelli
This is the view from our window. I love this quaint little city!

After Leslie and Janice left to go back to Kaysville we went to lunch at Zupa's and then shopping at World Trade Market...I love that store!

Then we went back to the room and talked until the other girls came up. We met Kim, Suzanne B., Stephanie and Leslie and Janice at the BAJA CANTINA. It's TRADITION to eat here when we come up here each year.  It was so nummy. It never disappoints!  Then we walked over to the ROCKY MOUNTAIN CHOCOLATE FACTORY for a small treat (I got toffee..delish!).
I love this group of ladies. We were only missing two...Brooke and Mary.

This is so cute of Kim and Leslie
                                                Suzanne B, Kris and MaryAnn
                                                            Janice, Steph and Cozette
Shelli, Me, Janice, Steph and Cozette

We celebrated Suzanne's birthday too.

Afterwards we went shopping at the Outlet Stores.

Then we went back to the hotel for more TALKING...Girls are so good at that! I love spending time with these great ladies. They truly are amazing!

The next day was SO MUCH FUN! After my dear friends went on like a 6 mile walk, we went back to the OLYMPIC PARK so Janice, Shelli and Kim could ride the EXTREME TUBING!
While they were buying their tickets we sat and watched the OLYMPIC SKI TEAM practice their AERIAL ROUTINES. It was so awesome seeing them do their flips and then land in the POOL. I could honestly watch that all day!

Look how high they get! Crazy! They have special ski's with slits in them that the water goes through so they don't break their legs when they land in the pool.

This is a very steep climbing wall that was cool.

EXTREME TUBING:
Well, Janice, Shelli and Kim decided to do it! It was so fun watching them fly down the slope. They got two rides. One is on a 45 degree angle and the second was on a 90 degree angle. They wet down the slope with water and away they go! They don't get wet though. CRAZY! I took pics and video for them. They said it was SO MUCH FUN and they were so happy they did it. Maybe I will dare to do it next time.

Here is Shelli and Kim on their way up to the top!
                                                                    The 4 Scaredy-Cats
Here's both tracks they went on
I don't know if this was Shelli, Janice or Kim
Kim laid back and was on an adrenalin high, I think!

I am so proud of these 3 for daring to do it! They go so dang fast and it is super steep! Way to go ladies!
We had such a fun weekend. Thanks to Shelli for always setting this up for us. I truly feel so blessed to have these wonderful ladies in my life!
