THE SPECIAL BUNNY VISIT

April 20, 2014

We went to my Mom's for EASTER DINNER. We had a "SPECIAL SURPRISE" from Steven. He arranged for the EASTER BUNNY to show up. Steven was so happy to do this for our family. Boston was scared to death of him and wouldn't sit on his lap, but everybody else did. I mean EVERYBODY else did. My parents, sister, kids, and nephew too. Thanks for the "SPECIAL SURPRISE STEVEN!"
Baby Waylon was so good sleeping in the Easter Bunny's arms.
Boston wasn't having anything to do with this Easter Bunny! Don't you just love Zachs vest? That crazy guy! Mikell told me he wears it every time their family gets together. I bet they think he's a nut!
Remington loved sitting on the Easter Bunny's lap. I bet he won't be so excited next year!
Andy was the Birthday Boy so the Easter Bunny made him take a turn sitting on his lap.
I have other cute pics of everyone on his lap but for some reason I cannot get it off my cell phone. My camera battery died and so I had to take pics from my phone. Sorry!

EASTER DAY TRADITIONS

April 19, 2014

We got up and went to CHURCH and then came home to do our EASTER TRADITIONS. I snuck home during Sunday School to hide all the CHOCOLATE EGGS and CANDY for our CRAZY CHOCOLATE EGG HUNT. The kids almost kill each other running up the stairs and running around gathering the CANDY. We laughed so hard at the video of this HUNT. Geez, the little kids better stay out of the way of their parents. This is serious business. I am always afraid each year that someone is going to get hurt! Afterwards, we did EASTER BASKETS and then went to Grandma Shirley's for EASTER DINNER.
This is where we start the Chocolate Egg Hunt...on your mark, get set, GO!
Remington's basket. Since he can't have candy we put in baby food pouches.
Just wanted you to see the cute basket with his name on it. My friend Darla made them for me.
                                            Here's Waylons Easter basket
Boston's favorite thing the Easter Bunny brought him was his Robot. He played with this non-stop.

Mikell showing the new swim suit for Waylon.
Boston showing off his new shades.

Love our little Waylon. Honestly, he is the sweetest little guy!
Ashley showing some of Remington's new clothes and bath toys.
Lytton loves his new videos Thor and The Hobbit (the second one)
Zach and Lytton got fun stuff they can use on the grill. They were so excited to use their new tools.
The girls got lotion, jewelry and my favorite thing this year was the Temple Passport Books. I can't wait for us to go to all the temples in Utah!
Zach pulling that silly face he always does. Urgghh! Anyway, he is showing his temple passport book.
The girls also got new LDS music cd's to add to their collection.
Lovin' some of his BBQ tools
All the fun stuff the Easter Bunny brought

COLORING EASTER EGGS

April 19, 2014

We had such a busy day today. We went to the Easter Egg Hunt, we "egged" the grandparents, we had a family photo shoot, we planted magic jelly beans, and now it was late at night and we still had to dye EASTER EGGS! So I got everything ready and couldn't find where I had put the vinegar, so I had to run to the store again! I was pooped! But we DYED EGGS and Boston had so much fun doing them. Thanks to Ashley and Lytton for finishing them all while I was busy getting EASTER BASKETS ready!

Then, after dying eggs, Ashley died the eggs for my deviled eggs. Thanks Ash for staying up late helping me.

MAGIC JELLY BEANS

April 19, 2014

I made a glittery envelope with MAGIC JELLY BEANS in it. I took Boston outside and we PLANTED them in my sorry looking flower bed. The next morning Boston went outside to see what had grown in place of the JELLY BEANS. He was so shocked to see EASTER BUNNY SUCKERS in their place. This was such a fun idea!
We planted these magic jelly beans the night before Easter.
The next morning on the way to church, Boston saw the suckers that had grown where he planted the jelly beans.
                                      Picking his Easter Bunny suckers

Look at all those nummy suckers he picked!

SPRING PHOTOSHOOT

April 19, 2014

I bought the GRANDKIDS their EASTER OUTFITS and I loved the colors. I asked everyone if they could color coordinate and then we could get a FAMILY PIC.  Cyndi offered to take our picture. We went up to FARMINGTON POND. Unfortunately it wasn't the best time of day to take photo's but with Zach's work schedule we couldn't do them in the morning. Oh well. We had fun taking them. It was hard keeping Boston interested, and Remi to look at the camera so we had to move fast. Thanks Cyndi for doing this for us.

I wish we would have Waylon propped up more so we could see his face. But he is in there!

I love that Boston just came up to me to give me a hug. Waylon's looking at Remington like, "what you doin?" I cannot explain how much I love these boys!
Then we couldn't get Boston to smile but Remington would, and he wasn't grabbing at Waylon
I was so happy when Boston came up to give me a kiss...that's rare these days!
And just that quick he was out of there. He had enough!
Love these two little ones! They are 5 months apart.

                                                             Zach and Mikell
So sweet. Boston is a wonderful big brother. Waylon is so precious!

The sun is in our eyes but we love this place. We will have to come back at another time to get this spot for our photo's.

Little Waylon looks so cute in his little bow tie!
I love this cute boys smile
Mikell and Waylon. He is 3 weeks old.
                                                      The Bastian Family
They are lovin' on this cutie
Remington, 6 months old with his mommy, Ashley
