DINNER AT JOYCE'S

June 23, 2019

Joyce and Jenny invited me and Mom to her place for a PASTA DINNER. I was so happy to get a phone call from Ashley as I was leaving for DINNER. She surprised me by saying she was in Clearfield and was alone...no kids with her! So we invited her to join us and I am so glad that she could. I love spending time with her and wish I could be with her more often so I will take any moment I can. Love this sweet girl of mine!

Ashley sure loves her Grandma Shirley!

Joyce made Lazy Man's Lasagna and it was delicious! Her homemade sauce is the best!
Dalyn and Jenny and I love Joyce's green beans with almonds, bacon and onions! She made fresh fruit with a nummy dip, and a Caesar Salad...then for dessert, a nummy Raspberry and White Chocolate Cheesecake! Thanks Joyce! I didn't even get a pic of her! Sorry!
Joyce is a great cook and I always love being her DINNER GUEST!!

DOWNATA HOT SPRINGS

June 22, 2019

We had a super fun day at DOWNATA HOT SPRINGS. My mom was worried that she was going to be too cold because it was a chilly day outside. I told her she was going to love this because it is SO WARM and relaxing and that she was going to be so excited she came.  Sure enough! She had the best time and she couldn't get over how good it felt swimming in the HOT SPRINGS!

The kiddo's had a blast! They loved going down the slides and splashing around. It has been so much fun for me to spend the last few weekends with them. I wish I could see them more often because I have a ball every time I'm with these cutie pies!

We ate in the little cafe they have and  this day has just been the best!

Grandma Shirley loves holding this baby!

AND A COLT WAS BORN!

June 2019

I was so happy when I got a Marco Polo from Ashley letting us know that Jewel, had her BABY COLT! It is the cutest little guy and we are so excited for the Bastian Family to have a new member of their family! Ashley intends for this little one to be Remington's HORSE. They are just trying to figure out what they will name this cute little COLT. Any suggestions?

I just took screenshots during the Marco Polo so these photos are not the greatest but you can see how cute this little one is!

PIG AND A JELLY JAR

June 21, 2019

We tried a new little restaurant in SLC. It's called PIG AND A JELLY JAR. Jenny had been there before but it was new for us. It was really different. We all loved what we got. I don't know if I will ever go back but I really love trying new places to eat. It was just great being with this wonderful company!

So happy Maddy could join us!
 Loving Jenny's new haircut!

People think I'm weird for taking photos of our food but it helps me to remember what the restaurant served and it actually helps me to remember what our night was like and even some of our conversations. So call me weird, but I am going to continue to do it!
Jenny loves Buffalo wings and Ranch Dressing on her French Fries. This place had the best Ranch that actually wasn't Ranch but a Peppercorn Dressing  that was OUT OF THIS WORLD!

PROGRESS ON THE HOUSE ADD-ON

June 2018

Things are finally moving along on our HOUSE ADD-ON. It is fun to see the progress and I can't wait to have my family over for a great meal, in my new kitchen when it is all done! Tomorrow I am getting WINDOWS put it, and they will start cutting into the house to add theWIRING and PLUMBING and hopefully in 4-6 weeks it will be done! They started ROOFING the other day and CABINETS are being made. I'm just getting super excited!

It's hard to tell from these photos because I can't walk out onto the ADD-0N from my existing KITCHEN yet so I can't take a decent pic except through a small WINDOW!

My Current Kitchen with no CABINETS or FLOORING. Looks so weird! And so little! So excited for my new KITCHEN!

RIDING THE MOTORCYCLE

June 2018

The kiddo's got an electric MOTORCYCLE and they couldn't be happier! They have had a ball racing around on this thing. The only problem is that Briggs is the one who is obsessed with MOTORCYCLES (He calls them Mo's). He is too little to DRIVE it by himself and he wants to so bad. So he still RIDES but with the help of Mikell.  I love watching them RIDE this MOTORCYCLE and I feel bad I didn't get a pic of Waylon RIDING but I do have him on video!

                           Briggs is one  Happy Boy!

BACK HANDSPRINGS!

June 16, 2019

I was so surprised when the boys called me to the back yard to watch them on the trampoline. I walked back there and couldn't believe my eyes! The boys were doing BACK HANDSPRINGS! They are learning to do them in TUMBLING and Boston's so close. The lady barely puts her hand on his back, and he does them so well. As soon as she moves her hand it freaks him out and he can't do them as well. Well, today on the trampoline, Boston was flipping over by himself. Waylon is super close to doing them by himself and Briggs now is determined to learn to do them too!

 He did it!

Briggs has to do everything his big brothers do, so it won't be long that he'll be flipping over too!

He was so proud of himself! We were all pretty proud too!
Waylon just needs one hand on his back now too. He is doing fantastic!

FATHER'S DAY AND CORN HOLE

June 23, 2019

It was so great watching the kids get so excited in anticipation for Zach to open his FATHER'S DAY GIFTS. They were bouncing up and down while Zach was walking up the stairs. They couldn't wait for him to open their personally hand picks cards. They thought they were hilarious! They got Zach a game of CORN HOLE and a WATER SYSTEM (like a Mt. Olympus thing) since we don't have a sink anymore. This is how we will get our water!

It was nice CELEBRATING with him this day. I was with Lytton yesterday and my Dad is in the Philippines. So it was pretty quiet around here.

After church, we came home, ate and played CORN HOLE. I love this game. I'm probably the only adult who has never played this before but it was FUN! I wonder if it has to do with me WINNING both times I played...ha! ha!

I loved spending the afternoon Zach and Kell and their cute family. I am so proud of the DAD Zach is. He spends every second he can with his KIDS and any one who knows him, knows how much TIME he puts in with them. They are definitely his life. I love how much those kiddo's LOVE him too!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
