PLAYING AT THE PARK

March 19, 2016

After my Birthday Dinner, my kids went to the park so the kids could run and play before Ashley had to drive to Idaho for the night. Oh how these boys love each other! I can't get enough of watching them play together. I love how much Waylon and Remington are talking now and want Boston to watch them do something. I love how Boston turns the whole playground into an American Ninja Warrior arena. He is in training you know!  Just wanted to share these pics for Ashley and Mikell to see.

This is so blurry but I had to share that sweet smile. He was loving this slide!

MEETING HATTIE

March 19, 2016

My sisters, mom, Joyce, Andy, Morgan and Logan drove to Chad and Casha's house to meet the beautiful BABY HATTIE! She was such a sweet little baby. She wasn't overwhelmed by all of us loud relatives or by photo taking frenzy! I was lucky enough to feed her a bottle and she fell asleep in my arms so I was able to hold her for a long time! :)

She is a cute one and although I see Casha in her, I see a ton of her Daddy in her too. I am so excited for Chad to be a Daddy and then I was so excited that my brother Scott showed up. He is a cute, proud GRANDPA! I am thrilled for him as well. My mom was so happy to be holding HATTIE and she just kept saying how much she loved her. What a fun few hours we spent with her!

Great Grandma kisses are the best!

                                                          Aunt Diane with Hattie
                                                         Aunt Debbie holding Hattie
I got to spend lots of time holding her!

                                                                             I love this!
Andy and Morgan look cute with two kids! Logan got to meet his cute cousin!
                                                         My nephews beautiful family!
So cute! Scott, Chad, Casha and beautiful Hattie
I love these guys! So happy for my brother and for this sweet Great-Niece of mine!

DONALD TRUMP RALLY

March 19, 2016

This is going to shock you all but Zach got us all tickets to attend the DONALD TRUMP RALLY in Salt Lake City. No, we are not going to VOTE for him, but we wanted to hear what he had to say. We got there a few hours early and was shocked to see how long the line was. It was clear around the corner and down I don't know how many blocks! It was crazy! But not as crazy as we were. We knew we weren't going to get in, but we stood there for over an hour and a half freezing our butts off! We had people driving by flipping us off. We got called bigots. We got mooned by two large men driving by. It was hysterical. There was just something exciting about it all. We saw the protesters and all the crazy people in SLC!  When we knew we weren't going to get in (Zach went to the entrance and they said they were going to stop letting people in right then and we were still around the corner and down half way! We were bummed! So we stood on the corner by the entrance DONALD would drive through to get there (He was late!)!!  We froze! We waited there for at least an hour and then decided to just leave. Although we didn't get to see The Donald, we were part of a historic moment in Utah History!!

We also had tickets to Ted Cruz the next day but after all the waiting for nothing we decided not to attend that at all.

Oh I am so worried about the future of our country!

Here is a Bernie hater and a Trump supporter
Here are the protesters across the street. Apparently some of them tried to storm into the event after we left.
Some of the crazies out on the streets of Salt Lake City! We were happy Joyce was in town for this. For the record: Joyce HATES Trump!

BRANDING COWS!

March 18, 2016

Boston and I woke up early on Friday morning to drive to Idaho to watch Lytton and his family BRAND COWS! It was so much fun! Boston and Remington had a great time! They would climb up on the fence and watch. When they BRAND COWS they also put in their yellow tags in their ears, castrate some, de-horned some and give them a shot. It's really interesting and I love it!
Boston was so funny! I said Boston do you like this? He said Yes Grandma! I said maybe when you are 9 or 10 like Lytton's nephews you can help hand them the tools. He said, Grandma, when I'm a man I'm going to brand! He thought it was so cool!  What a fun trip up there.

On a side note, Boston made me listen to this one Christmas CD the whole 2 hour drive up and the whole 2 hours back! Everyone knows how much I love my Christmas music, but in March, not so much! Crazy kid!
These two boys thought this was so cool!
Remington cried when we had to take him away from Daddy. He wanted to be right there in the middle helping out.

I loved watching this and it sounds funny but it will be a fun family tradition once Ashley and Lytton take over the ranch.

THE LEPRACHAUNS CAME!

March 17, 2016

On the morning of ST. PATRICK'S DAY I hurried to get ready for work and then I strung GREEN yarn all over the house that led the kids to a POT OF GOLD COINS! (chocolate of course!). They thought this was so awesome! They were very excited that the LEPRACHAUNS had come while they were sleeping.

We went to dinner for my birthday when I got home from work, and when we got home we were shocked to see more GOLD COINS leading up the stairs and it led us to the bathroom where the toilet bowl was GREEN! Those silly LEPRACHAUNS peed in the toilet turning it GREEN! Boston thought that was so funny! He was just wondering how they got in our house! He asked if they made their bodies flat like a mouse to get into the house! Who knows???

A REAL 49ER!

March 16, 2016

Everyone who knows me, knows I love the 49ers. Well, I can say I am actually a real 49er now. I turned 49 this year on my BIRTHDAY! I cannot believe I am this old! To be real honest, I don't like being 49. I think it sounds older than 50. Maybe I just don't like odd numbers. Regardless, I am 49, the last year in my FORTIES and so I need to live it up!

I was surprised when Mikell brought the boys to my work. They brought me a CUPCAKE, a box of JR MINTS (Boston knows that is my favorite candy!) and a balloon. Not just any BALLOON. They didn't have some already blown up at Smith's so Boston said he knew I would just love an OPTIMUS PRIME BALLOON! And he was right! That is my favorite Transformer! Ha! Ha! Oh they just made my day! They took me to dinner the next night too! I love these guys!

My Birthday Treats! They also got me some awesome dance videos so I can get exercising!

SPECIAL DATE WITH BOSTON (ZOOTOPIA)

March 15, 2016

Boston and I went on a SPECIAL DATE to go see ZOOTOPIA.  Boston loved it. His favorite part was the SLOTH. It is a super cute show and everyone should see it. I love the theme song too! After the MOVIE we walked outside and was shocked to see how hard it was snowing! We saw the water with the lights and then sat by the outside FIREPLACE to get warm before heading home. We have so much fun together. I love my SPECIAL DATES with BOSTON!!

I tried taking a pic of Boston but my flash was too bright inside of the theater!
Boston loves watching the water and lights dance to music at Station Park.
We were getting drenched outside but had so much fun!
Getting warm by the fire. He was so funny. He wanted to save a lot of popcorn to take home so he could share it with Waylon. I can't wait to take Waylon to a movie. It won't be long before he'll sit through one!
Love this little guy so much!

A VISIT TO WELLSVILLE

May 13, 2016

After church I took Boston with me to Wellsville to play with Remington. Both boys were so excited to spend the day together. Remington always wants to be with Boston. It is so cute! They played hard outside, and then loved chasing me and Lytton around the house. What a fun Sunday afternoon!

Boston loves Ruger! This dog is his favorite!

Sidewalk chalk is always fun, especially when you make huge dinosaurs!
