BOSTON BROKE HIS FOOT!

January 27, 2016

Did I tell you our family loves to DANCE? We DANCE often! Well Boston was showing us some of his epic DANCE MOVES and he jumped up in the air, did a 360 and landed weird on his FOOT. Immediately he yells and cries and we knew he was seriously hurt. Poor little guy! He had a horrible night sleep.

The next morning Mikell took him to get X-RAYS because he still couldn't walk on it and it was swelling. The Doctor said he couldn't see anything wrong but the RADIOLOGIST wouldn't be in until Monday to read the X-RAY. Well, all during the day it got worst. Boston was in a lot of pain! Mikell called the Doctor and said this is getting more swollen and can't you send it to the Radiologist? Well because of her persistence, they did...and it was BROKEN! She had to take Boston back in and they put a BOOT on his FOOT. He broke the metatarsals. The bone on top of the foot just under the toes.

Here he is sporting his new boot!
His right foot started to really swell
Getting his X-rays! He was so brave!

After he got home he started hurting and we had to keep it elevated. This isn't much fun!
My poor little guy! He's a tough one though!

LIBRARY FIELD TRIP WITH BOSTON

January 25, 2016

I am one lucky Grandma! I got to go with Boston on his preschool's FIELD TRIP TO THE LIBRARY! It was so much fun! We got to take a tour around the LIBRARY and the Librarian read us two books...that would be my perfect job! I love READING to KIDS! I just don't think I could be QUIET all day long! Nope! I couldn't do it!

My favorite part was being able to go in the special door that has a metal slide that the BOOKS go down when they get put in the drive-up return dispenser. They put some down it and it was awesome! The kids loved it. Boston's favorite part was when the Librarian showed all of the books that had been destroyed by being chewed on by a puppy, dropped in the tub, put on a hot burner, used as an umbrella, etc... He laughed when she showed all of them.

What a super fun experience I had with Boston today. It made me so happy!
                                                                Boston and his friends

These are the two books the Librarian read that the kids loved!
This is the cool slide that the books go down when being returned from outside
Then the kids got to choose a book to read before they left. Boston chose a cool dinosaur book.
Time to go! Boston and Peter became good friends! Peter drove there and back with us.
Goodbye Library. See you again real soon! Thanks Boston for letting me come with you on your awesome Field Trip!

LYTTON GETS A MACK DIESEL!

January 24, 2016

Lytton didn't get to attend our awesome Dance Party the night before because he flew to INDIANA to buy a DIESEL. He is getting it because he now owns the GRAVEL PIT in Downey, Idaho. He is buying the DIESEL and will by a SIDE DUMP so that he can deliver gravel to those purchasing it. He was so excited! He loved driving the DIESEL and is super happy with it. He gave me a ride in it when he got home. It was cool!

Ashley and Remington sitting in the back of the diesel on the bed.
Lytton took me for a little spin in the diesel

I gave it two thumbs up!

While Lytton was driving across the country, I got to help watch the kiddo's. They were so much fun and Remington was the loviest, cuddlebug. Oh I couldn't get enough of him. He would just run up and love me without me asking. That made my whole weekend. He is a crack up too. I loved watching him.
This is my favorite pic of him from the weekend. Super funny. Trying to touch his tongue to his nose like Grandma!

I learned that Paisley does throw fits once in awhile. I was shocked! She has always been the perfect baby. She isn't bad, believe me but she can let you know how she's feeling when she's not happy, which wasn't often.  My shoulder hurt for 3 days after I got home from holding her so much. Oh but she melts my heart. She is so sweet!

                                                                        Isn't she a doll?

Don't judge me. I didn't wear make up the whole time I was up there!
Oh I love my Remi! We had fun playing airplanes and helicopters!
This little girl missed her Daddy! She has him wrapped around her cute little finger!

She keeps sucking on her bottom lip! Remi loved taking pics with my camera.

Tubby Time!
These cute kiddo's are so much fun, but exhausting too! What fun to be Grandma to these two!

GETTIN' OUR GROOVE ON!

January 23, 2016

I threw a super fun DANCE PARTY at my Dad's house. His big living room was the perfect place to hold it. I brought my DISCO BALL, and I made an awesome playlist of the best SONGS to DANCE to. Not only did I play current DANCE MUSIC, but I played some from the 50's, 60's, 70's of course the 80's (best dance music era of all time!) the 90's to current. It was in the dark but my flash makes it look like the lights were on. The GLOW STICKS AND DISCO BALL gave us some light. Also, it was hard to take pics showing motion. Everyone was dancing the whole time but the still photo's make it look like we weren't really dancing. Trust me! We were!

We watched my Mom and Dad do the JITTERBUG. We all did THE TWIST to TWIST AND SHOUT, we did the HUSTLE to NIGHT FEVER and STAYING ALIVE. We did some LINE DANCING to BOOT SCOOTIN' BOOGIE. Reece danced a few solos to LET IT GO and other Princess music.
Mom and Dad doing the Jitterbug. I could watch them all night!

The funniest part was when I had the guys, Mona and Jessica put on the HATS I had purchased for our YMCA number! It was hysterical. They were such great sports to wear them, DANCE and SING and can I tell you...ANDY HAS SOME MOVES! He was great!! It was a lot of fun!

                                                         Dad made a good Indian!

I brought out some 80's ACCESSORIES for some TOTALLY AWESOME props. The kids loved playing with those. I had GLOW STICKS, NECKLACES AND BRACELETS too.

Beau is rockin' the 80's glasses!

Then we just DANCED, DANCED, AND DANCED for 2.5 hours!!

Reece loved entertaining us with her beautiful dance moves to Let It Go!

                                                        Get Down, Boogie Oogie, Oogie!
                                                    Reece loved the 80's accessories!
This was so funny! I was dancing to Mom on SuperFreak! She's Super Freaky!! Mom died laughing!

Line Dancing or possibly the Hustle
Paisley would kick her feet the whole time the music was playing. She's going to be a dancer!

                                                        Jessica really getting into it!
Ashley and Remi taking a break. We had pizza and cookies and lots of drinks cuz we worked up a sweat!
Sorry this is blurry! Diane and Logan

                                                       They weren't Twerking! Don't worry!

                                                 Diane and Mona slow dancing??
                                                          Play that Funky Music!

Here I was singing to my Mom...I had so much fun!

This was probably my most FUN party I have ever thrown. I was so sad Boston missed it! He loves to DANCE and has some awesome moves! His family had the stomach flu :(

This is something we will definitely being doing again!! I took lots of video and not as many pics, but enough that you'll get the idea of what fun we had!
