SADIE'S 1ST BIRTHDAY!

October 2017

This month has been so crazy busy, that we CELEBRATED SADIE'S 1ST B-DAY a few weeks late. It's OK, she won't even know! I drove up to Downey after church on Sunday to have CAKE AND ICE CREAM and to CELEBRATE this precious ONE YEAR OLD then I drove home.

This little SADIE is the SWEETEST little GIRL! She really is. She loved opening her PRESENTS with her sister's help. Her favorite GIFT was her own soft BABY DOLL. She LOVED it! She would NOT put it down. She ate her CAKE with it, she rocked it and would give it LOVES over and over. It was the cutest thing!

Oh how I love this one!

There's a funny story behind this cake. Ashley ran out of time and couldn't make Sadie a cake so she asked me Saturday night if I could run to Smith's and grab a cake. Well this is the only one that looked girly so I asked the guy in the bakery if he could write Happy Birthday Sadie on the cake. He said, "Sure, no problem." I told him I would be right back and I heard him say to another worker in the deli that he had never written on a cake in his life!" So I said, "would you like me to write on it? I can do it quick." He said, "Oh, no, I'm good!"  Well when I got back I heard the deli guy say just scrape it off and try again. The baker dude said, no it will smear pink all over. I had to laugh. Look at his handwriting! It looks like a guy did it! Oh well, it still tasted good!

Ashley loves her little Sadie Bug!
Traditional Birthday Kisses! Proud parents right here of this sweetie!

Kisses! That baby doll is right in there too. I'm telling you she would not put it down!
Then I played with these little ones! Oh how much fun we had!
I know this is blurry but I love her smile in this one.
Paisley kept scrunching up her nose in our selfies!
 Oh silly Remington!

I love playing with these little BASTIAN kiddo's. Never a dull moment!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DEAR SADIE BUG!

TEPANYAKI FOR OCTOBER B-DAYS!

October 2017

Our family has a ton of OCTOBER BIRTHDAYS. A few of those CELEBRATING their BIRTHDAYS met us at TEPANYAKI for a great dinner! It was so DELICIOUS! I swear, every bite is fantastic! It's always fun to watch them cook your dinner right in front of you.

Mona and Dad...isn't this the best broth ever? Oh I love it!
Me and Dalyn. So happy he could join us!
 Me, Mom and Debbie
 Here is our talented chef!
The fire is always a favorite!

This was Joyce, Jenny, and Dalyn first time here and they loved it all!
The noodles and fried rice are delish!

This is always fun too. Getting pics of everyone with their mouth open trying to catch the Shrimp that the Chef throws.
This photo of mom is hilarious! It's my favorite. She caught the SHRIMP!!
Next was Jenny's turn. She missed the first time but caught the second!!

Then we CELEBRATED the BIRTHDAYS! We sang and they gave out nummy dessert!
Mona and Dad blowing out their candles!
Debbie eating the cherry off the sundae!
Happy Birthday to these 3 and Joyce!
Me and Mom...loved this day so much!

BOO-ING THE GRANDPARENTS!

October 2017

Today we started a new fun thing to do! We went BOO-ING THE GRANDPARENTS! Remember how we heart attack them at Valentines, and Egg them at Easter?  Well, we BOOED them for HALLOWEEN.  We made SCARY DONUTS and got a GHOST BALLOON and then DOORBELL DITCHED all of the Grandparents. I get the biggest kick out of it! These boys get SO NERVOUS, AND EXCITED waiting on the side of the house for the Grandparents to answer the door! Then they run out screaming, "YOU'VE BEEN BOOED!"  The Grandparents love this too. It's a WIN-WIN!

The boys loved making these scary donuts!
We got the balloons filled up and we are on our way to BOO THE GRANDPARENTS!
They rang the doorbell and are now waiting on the side of the house in anticipation!
 Boston takes a peek!
Mona and Grandpa Tom are shocked to see a surprise on their door and balloons too!
These boys ran up and gave him a big hug! They loved this so much!
Grandpa and Mona surprised them with treats of their own!

Then we went to Grandma Melanie's and Papa's:
                                                                What a surprise!
                                                       Big Loves!

Waylon couldn't wipe the smile off his face. He was so happy!

Next we went to Grandma Shirley's:
It's so hard to wait patiently for the door to open!
We snuck this pic before we rang the doorbell.
Grandma Shirley gave big loves to these fun boys! She gave them treats in return!

Next we went to Nan and Pops:
Oh man, were they happy we stopped by and BOOED them!
What a super fun TRADITION! These boys had the happiest time!
