CHUBBY'S AND CARDS

February 18, 2013

Saturday morning Zach and Lytton went to the Stake Center to play BASKETBALL with the guys in our ward. They played 5 games! They were both awesome! We had fun watching them. Then we went down to SLC to see Mom and Grandma. We went to CHUBBY'S for lunch and then went to Grandma Shirleys to play GARBAGE. We have played CARDS so much this weekend. Love it!

HARDWARE RANCH

February 16, 2013

Since I had a 4 day weekend I spent the weekend with Ash and Lytt. Friday night we went to see Wreck it Ralph and played cards all night. Then Saturday we went to HARDWARE RANCH to see all of the ELK. There were a ton of ELK but when we got there and saw the long line for the SLEIGH RIDE and realized it just went around the corral we decided to not go on the ride but we just looked at them from where we stood. It was still fun to see all of the ELK and then we threw a few SNOWBALLS but we really loved the drive through the canyon. It was a beautiful drive and I can't wait to come up here in the Summer for a fun place to picnic. After the drive we went to eat at the PITA PIT and then went to see Parental Guidance. I love this movie!! It was my 2nd time seeing it and Ash and Lytt liked it to.
Getting all bundled up and ready to go to see the elk

BREAKING NEWS:   ASHLEY AND LYTTON ARE HAVING A BABY!!

Ashley poses with the POSITIVE SIGN ON THE STICK! They are so excited! She isn't very far along but we are all so excited to share the great news. She is due SEPTEMBER  29TH!!
She says she already feels like she has a BUMP and if she is like the rest of the girls in our family she will be in MATERNITY CLOTHES in another month!  She was feeling so well until this last weekend and now she is experiencing some NAUSEA but hasn't thrown up yet!
CONGRATULATIONS ASHLEY AND LYTTON!  (Just want to say that I KNOW it is going to be a GIRL even though Lytt really wants it to be a BOY!!)
                                                                   Here's the proof!

HOOP IT UP!

February 8-9, 2013

Ashley and Lytton came down for the weekend and Zach was so happy to have them down so they could play BASKETBALL. So we all went over to the church to play Friday night and Saturday morning. It was great to let Boston just run around (He pushes his toy and thinks he is vacuuming the whole church!).  He also loved to play Primary Songs on the piano in the Primary Room!
They played  "21", HORSE, AROUND THE WORLD etc...  It was fun to go and play, get some excercise instead of being stuck indoors sitting around all day...Aren't you all sick of this cold, gray winter???   Saturday night we went to Kaysville Theater to see "Here Comes the Boom" It was a really cute show! Of course Sunday night we had to watch the Walking Dead. It was fun to have Ash and Lytt come down and spend time with us. We had a great weekend!

KICK OFF TO SUPERBOWL

February 3, 2013

Everyone who knows me knows that I am a HUGE 49ers FAN! They have been my favorite TEAM since the STEVE YOUNG days. Lytton also loves the 49ers so it was fun to have our TEAM go to the SUPERBOWL this year! We had Ashley, Lytton, Diane, Judy, Mason, Sarah, Graham, and Steven over to watch the GAME and Zach, Mikell and Boston came over after HALF TIME (They spend the first half at Mikell's Mom's house eating her B-day dinner).  We had PIZZA, WINGS, CHIPS and DIP, ETC...Then at HALF TIME we had BANANA SPLITS and FOOTBALL CAKE. We had a great time together and when the LIGHTS went out we played a CATEGORY GAME about FOOTBALL. Mason was the MVP! I was so glad that Mason and Graham came over. We enjoyed some of the COMMERCIALS but our favorites this year was the Taco Bell one with the old folks, the one about the CLYDESDALE HORSE and then our very favorite was the DODGE RAM one about the FARMER. Lytton loved this one!  Although my TEAM lost :(  I still thought it was a good game. Hopefully next year the 49ers can take it all the way!

Yeah! The 49ers made it to the SuperBowl!!
We were glad that Mason brought Sarah. She is a cute girl!
Mason, Ash, Lytt, Diane and Judy
Zach, Mikell, Boss, Mason and Sarah
                                                     Ashley, Lytton and Diane
Mason was really getting into the game. Sadly, he is a Raven's fan :(
Lytton loves eating wings. That's his favorite food!
Boston says "Touchdown" every time he sees a football
This was funny. Look at Lytton. He is really getting into it. Graham can't believe this play! It was probably when they should have called pass interferance but didn't!
At this point there was still hope for my team and I was feeling like we were going to pull off the win!
This was actually taken before it was really set up
                                                          I made this Football Cake
I made chocolate covered strawberries into footballs, Lycia made white chocolate covered popcorn and pretzels.
