CONFERENCE COUNTDOWN!

September 2016

I have been wanting to make these CONFERENCE COUNTDOWN boards for a few years and I have patiently been waiting for the kiddo's to get a little big bigger. I just want them to be familiar with who the PROPHET and the APOSTLES are and to be excited to watch GENERAL CONFERENCE.

On the back of each stick is an activity to do with CONFERENCE such as an APOSTLE MATCHING GAME, COLORING a King Benjamin page, SINGING FOLLOW THE PROPHET, there are a few FHE Lessons that are fun for getting ready to LISTEN TO A PROPHET, etc...the last day they get to go get their favorite TREATS, and blankies to get comfy and ready for CONFERENCE. As they get older of course they will change some of the activities like attending the TEMPLE, and LISTENING to the MORMON TABERNACLE CHOIR practice live on a Thursday night, etc...

It is my hope and prayer that these little ones will gain a strong TESTIMONY of JESUS CHRIST and will always FOLLOW THE PROPHET!

After they complete the activity they turn over the stick and add it to the other nail next to it.

PUMPKIN COOKIES

September 24, 2016

Well, it's officially FALL so it's a perfect time to start  with the FALL TRADITIONS we love so much. I was so excited that Ashley and the kids were down so we could start making PUMPKIN COOKIES. The boys had a ball DECORATING COOKIES. Waylon could have added SPRINKLES all day long! Boston loved using the CAKE DECORATING BAGS to add COLOR to his PUMPKIN COOKIES! Remington couldn't wait to EAT THE FROSTING! Oh, I love FALL, DECORATING COOKIES, and these BOYS!

This is one of Boston's favorite things to do to celebrate FALL

                                                                  Busy Buddies!
                                                                  This is fun Grandma!
Boston loved taking a time out to lick his knife full of frosting!
Loved catching this pic of Remi stealing a lick of frosting.
Remington held my hand and helped me add some green vines to his Pumpkin!

                                                          Busy little cookie decorators!
He was pretty patient at spreading his frosting around.
Waylon's a SPRINKLE JUNKIE! He loves this part of decorating!
Waylon kept saying, "This is for Grandma Shirley!"
                                                       Boston, Waylon and Grandma Suzie
Waylon was super good at adding SPRINKLES! He could have done this all day long!

ZACH'S 28TH BIRTHDAY

Sept 23, 2016

My SON, ZACHARY WRIGHT turned 28 YEARS OLD TODAY! I seriously cannot believe he is 28! That's almost 30! If anyone knows Zach, you will know he cannot wait til his BIRTHDAY to OPEN PRESENTS! Mikell caved and let him open some the night before his BIRTHAY! He got some awesome WALKIE TALKIES that go like 36 miles, he got a really nice camo jacket from Cabella's, and a shirt too. He is so excited to go duck hunting this year!

I know how much Zach loves DONUTS so I decided instead of making a cake, I would make a DONUT CAKE instead. it looks worse in pics than it did in real life. He was shocked and he loved it! The kids thought it was awesome!

Any of you who really knows Zach, knows that he loves TACO BELL. That was his choice to go there for his BIRTHDAY DINNER. Seriously, he is the funniest guy! So that's where we went and he was HAPPY!

I love so many things about Zach. He is an excellent HUSBAND, FATHER, SON, AND GRANDSON. He is smart, hard working, and funny. He cares about this country we live in and although he drives us nuts at times when he talks non-stop about POLITICS and THE NEW WORLD ORDER, I am so glad he cares so much and wants to make it a better place! He is a major WATER CONSERVATIONIST and feels deeply about it. Watch out if you are abusing WATER on your lawn! He is PASSIONATE about being PREPARED in an emergency. He gives great ADVICE and is a great LISTENER. I love watching him TEACH his kids about Heavenly Father, the world, sports and how to treat people and how to protect themselves. We are all BLESSED to have Zach in our lives.

I hope you have the best BIRTHDAY ever Zach. I am so PROUD to be your MOM!

He is excited to try out his new walkie talkies. Great for an emergency!
Zach loved his new CAMO...He said it's his favorite color!
Big Hugs to Boston for picking out his awesome shirt!
Zach giving loves to Waylon for his BIRTHDAY PRESENTS!
Glazed and Chocolate Glazed donuts made up this DONUT CAKE!

Zach had lots of help blowing out his birthday candles!
Taco Bell for Zach's Birthday Dinner...this just cracks me up!
My son is 28! I'm freaking out a little bit!
Oh how I love these two! So happy Ashley was able to come down for Zach's birthday.
                                                HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZACHY-BO!

STACY AND JOSH GOT MARRIED!

September 17, 2016

I am so happy for my niece Stacy. She is the sweetest thing and she and her SWEETHEART, Josh finally TIED THE KNOT up at SNOW BASIN. It was a beautiful day for a wedding! We got to ride the TRAM to the top and oh my goodness! The view of the FALL LEAVES was amazing! It was so great to be up there.

The CEREMONY was beautiful and Stacy looked beautiful! The BOUQUETS that she carried and the BRIDESMAIDS held were amazing. Afterwards we rode the TRAM back down to EARLS LODGE for the RECEPTION. They had delicious food and a really fun PHOTO BOOTH and we watched her FIRST DANCE with Josh. Then we had to leave. But my goodness! This was a fantastic day! I am so happy for her and wish her a long life of HAPPINESS!
