VISIT TO VEGAS

Since I was already in ST GEORGE taking Erin home, I thought I would just keep drivin' and stop and visit Zach and Mikell for the weekend. I'm so glad I did. I was able to bring them a bunch of stuff they needed to help decorate their new guest room, and to bring more clothes for the BABY!  :)   Mikell is now off bedrest and she was told to start excercising to help her start thinning out and dilating. So she has been walking, swimming, bouncing around on her excercise ball and even HIKING! I went swimming with her twice while I was there and we went for a little HIKE at Mt. Charleston. She's about sick to death of being PREGNANT and can hardly wait for this PRECIOUS BABY to come! Here are pics of my little weekend stay:

Melanie was already in Vegas when I got there. She was staying one week. It was fun to be with her too.

Zach was being HILARIOUS in the pool! He would go underneath Mikell and make her ride on his back and then he would do the "RODEO WHALE" bouncing her everywhere. We were LAUGHING so hard! I actually got it on video but I haven't asked for permission yet if I could post it.

Zach kept doing CANNON BALLS cuz I told him I had just washed my hair and didn't want to get it wet. Before you know it he had been playing "SHARK" and ATTACKED me from underneath while sitting in the chair and I went flying into the water. So long for dry hair! It was fun though. Then he held Mikell up out of the water like "PRIDE ROCK"  on LION KING. We again LAUGHED so hard! I also have video of that but again, don't have permission yet.  I had such a fun weekend in VEGAS and I cannot believe that the next time I go there I will be a GRANDMA!  I'm SO looking forward to that! :)

THE BIG RED BARN

Erin had asked me if I would drive her and the kids back to ST GEORGE. I told her I would. So I rented a car and away we went. Well, its kind of a TRADITION to stop at the BIG RED BARN for ICE CREAM and FUDGE. The Big Red Barn is in Santaquin. (You can see it on the right of the freeway). So I stopped there so the kids could stretch and get a treat. I took them into the REALLY COLD ROOM that is really refrigerated to keep the produce cold (they always have apples and pears in there). I told Jackson it would feel like WINTER in that room. So we went in and he was FREEZING! We ran in there and got a taste of their NUMMY APPLE JUICE, and then ran out as fast as we could. After we ate our ice creams and were about to head back to the car, JACKSON asked if I would take him back into the cold room one more time. I did and we had a to take a pic of us in there FREEZING! Both of the kids were so good the whole way down to ST GEORGE. The nice surprise for me was seeing Erin's new house. It is SO GORGEOUS! I am so glad she has moved back to UTAH! I'm so glad that we will be able to spend more time with her and her cute little family!

STEVEN'S 4TH OF JULY SURPRISE!

It wouldn't be the same if STEVEN wasn't giving us a SURPRISE on the 4th OF JULY. Here are 2 of his holiday surprises:

DRIVE IN MOVIE

I went to the DRIVE-IN MOVIE with Stef, Erin and Jessica and their families. We went to see CARS 2. It was really cute! I brought glow in the dark necklaces and bracelets for the kids. We had a fun time!

I FACED MY FEARS AND SLID!

After we played games on the 4th of July we put tarps together and added DAWN DISHSOAP to make it slick. Brody, Jessica, and Ashley were the PRO'S at sliding and taught the little ones how to do it. Ashley kept BEGGING me to try it. I really wanted to but when you are my AGE and SIZE...you get AFRAID to run and fall cuz it HURTS! I was SCREAMING the whole time I was running saying, "I'm so scared! I'm so scared!"  But...I DID IT!!  It was funny cuz I would slide and then it would slide me all the way on my back and my arms would go flying above my head! I looked RIDICULOUS but it was SO MUCH FUN!!

4TH OF JULY FUN, FUN, FUN, AND MORE FUN!

After the parade we went back to my house to EAT and PLAY GAMES and of course have a WATER FIGHT. This year we didn't do exactly everything we normally do. I was SAD when I realized we forgot to take our ANNUAL FAMILY PIC of all of us after the WATER FIGHT and we forgot to do the WATERMELON SEED SPITTIN' CONTEST!!  We didn't play all the games I had planned and it went a little SKIWAMPUS (SP?) because we didn't do things in the order we normally do but that's OK cuz we still had FUN!I have to give TONS OF THANKS to ASHLEY for filling HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of WATER BALLOONS for our 4th of July.  I know there are a ton of pics but I wanted to make sure I got one of everyone. Enjoy!

Rick and Mary made these hamburger cupcakes and cookie french fries. Totally Awesome!
