WATCHING MISS MOLLY!

April 18-23, 2018

I have been staying at my Aunt Joyce's house this week. Well, since Wed and til tomorrow while she and Jenny are visiting family in Chicago. I am watching her cute little doggy, Molly! She has been SO MUCH BETTER than the first time I watched her when she was a puppy! Oh my goodness! You'll have to go back and read about that post!

We made a little stay-cay out of it. My mom has come up every night to spend the night with me PLAYING CARDS, and WATCHING TV, and the JAZZ! We have had a fun week!

You're a sweet doggy, Miss Molly!

FLAG FOOTBALL AT ITS FINEST!

April 21, 2018

Oh man, I LOVE watching BOSTON play FLAG FOOTBALL out of all the SPORTS he plays, this is my favorite!  He was FAST, CONFIDENT and FOCUSED out there. Within the first minute of the game, he made his 1st TOUCHDOWN!  He pulled many FLAGS and made another TOUCHDOWN and he was so much fun to watch! He LOVES this GAME! This is going to be a fun season!

I love this little RAIDER!

SAME SIZED FOOT!

April 2018

Ok I am a little freaked out! How can this be??  Boston, age 6 has the SAME SIZE FOOT as me, his 51 year old Grandma!  This boy is GROWING so fast! He has really gotten tall this year as well. 3 inches according to my hall closet door where I keep all of the kiddo's heights. Slow down BOY!!

Yes, I know I am in desperate need of a pedicure...I'm going on Tuesday!!

SLIDING DOWN THE GRAVEL PIT!

April 2018

Remington and Paisley had a total blast SLIDING DOWN THE GRAVEL PIT. Ashley is going to bring cookie sheets next time for them to sit on so they slide better and faster but man, they had fun
and can't wait to do it again! I'm going to join them one day too. The videos look like a super fun time!

TIME OUT BUDDIES!

April 2018

Waylon was being NAUGHTY and he was told to sit against the wall in the hall for a TIME OUT! Well I look over and see Boston go and sit over next to him and put his arm around him telling him it's OK. Then, Briggs runs over to those two brothers and wants love too!

Isn't that so sweet?  I love seeing a little BROTHERLY LOVE!

WAYLON'S 1ST SOCCER GAME

April 19, 2018

WAYLON was a SUPERSTAR at his 1ST SOCCER GAME. This kid has some mad FOOT CONTROL and he totally dominated the FIELD and both teams. It was so much fun to watch him! You can definitely tell Mikell spends hours playing SOCCER with her boys! He has learned so much from her teaching Boston.

Waylon made 5 GOALS in his 1ST GAME. He wasn't scared to take it away from the other team while most his age play swarm ball and kick it once but don't follow it through. He was just amazing! Waylon needed this so much. Boston is always succeeding in all of the SPORTS that he plays and now it's WAYLON'S turn! And what was so sweet, is that Boston was so proud of him and picked him up and kept telling him how awesome he did! This was such a fun GAME for all of us to watch.

Way to go WAYLON!

This is Boston being so proud of his little brother!

Waylon was so happy to be playing with his cousin, Hyrum and coached by his Uncle Nick!
 Nice form Waylon!

He was so proud of himself and well he should!
I love this handsome soccer player!

REMINGTON'S 1ST TEE-BALL GAME

April 19, 2018

Remington had the best time playing in his 1ST TEE-BALL GAME! And he did GREAT! His team was in the OUTFIELD first so they put Remi up by the PITCHER'S MOUND. They told him that whenever someone hits the ball, he needs to run up and grab it and throw it to 1st base. He did it over and over and was doing so well!

Well, when it was his turn to HIT THE BALL he whacked it and then ran and got it and threw it to 1ST BASE just like he was told to do! Ha! Ha! That is SO FUNNY!

I wished I could have been there to see that cute boy play BASEBALL! He had the best time!

When he ran in on his HOMERUN, the other kids ran up to him and hugged him and high-fived him and it just made him feel so good! He was all smiles!  He sure loves being around other kids. He is a real social kid. Love him so much!!

REMINGTON is #52!

Here he is getting loves from some of his teammates!

REMINGTON'S 1ST SOCCER GAME

April 15, 2018

I was so excited to go to Idaho to see REMINGTON play in his 1ST SOCCER GAME! We drove to Pocatello and it was so great! He was so excited! He was so happy out there! He did really well and wasn't intimidated by the older kids who had played before. He got right in there and KICKED and FOUGHT for the BALL!  I was so proud of him!

We ran into Lytton's niece, Lillian while we were there. Sadie loved playing with her!

When we got home we went and played out in the field, and we played on the swings. I had so much fun with these little ones!

When I was leaving I saw Bella walking to Ashley's. We sent this pic to her Daddy, Bill. I love this girl and I told her we would have to plan something fun to do really soon! It still blows me away that this is Ashley's little sister! She is growing up so fast!

A FAREWELL AND AN APOSTLE

April 8, 2018

My sweet boss (retired) Pat, and her husband, Sid are going on a mission to Palmyra, New York! I am so excited that I will be able to see them in September when I go on my trip. I will see them at the Sacred Grove, or the Palmyra Temple and Visitor's Center. Super excited about that!

We went to their FAREWELL and they did an absolutely fantastic job! I knew they would. They are pretty awesome people.

As they were sitting on the stand, in walks an APOSTLE! D. Todd Christofferson was there! I would be so nervous if I was Pat, having to speak in front of him! But they didn't seem phased. They leaned into each other and Sid said we should probably hurry and re-write our talks because we only quote Elder Rasband and not him! Ha! Ha!

I know you're not supposed to take pictures in church but you know me, I couldn't help myself! So I snapped a few pics and conspicuously as I could.  When it was over I just wanted to meet him and shake his hand so bad! Lucky for me, he started walking towards me and I extended my hand and said I couldn't let an opportunity like this pass me by. We spoke for a few seconds and his wife was very sweet! I was so happy!!

Afterwards we went back to Pat's and boy, did they have a spread of great food! I loved the company and we had a very nice time.

I'm so excited for Pat and Sid and I am really excited to be seeing them in action on their MISSION in September!!

I love these great ladies!

HORSE AUCTION

April 7, 2018

Ashley is ready to buy a HORSE or two for her kids to start learning how to RIDE. She's been looking around and searching KSL and all of the HORSES that she likes say they are going to be at the HORSE AUCTION in Ogden.  We had never been to a HORSE AUCTION before so we thought we'd give it a try. It was SO interesting and I really enjoyed it! We got there early so we could see the horses and what they could do so Ashley could decide what ones to BID on.

Remington sat there for 6 hours not causing any problems at all! He was SO GOOD! He just played with a few Lego cars, and some writing book that Ashley brought and he kept himself entertained. I was so impressed! Lytton was home sick with the two little girls. They would have been HARD had they come with us. But since they didn't, this turned out to be a very nice, slow enjoyable day.

The time came for the AUCTION to begin and we had our favorites all picked out and were so excited! There were some really great HORSES for kids that they demonstrated how the kids rode them, and they didn't spook with balls being bounced around them, etc...

Well, everyone else with a lot more money loved those same HORSES and within seconds they were way over our budget! Dang it!

Ashley was excited, yet nervous to hold up her number sign to BID but she got an itch to BID on a HORSE so this one came out and she BID on it and I was like Ashley, what are you doing? He isn't on your list! She said well, let's just see!  Well, she won the BID and she was shocked! When she went to inquire on how to pay for it and pick it up, a man came up to her and said, "Hey, I would like that horse, I will give you $200 more than what you paid for it." Ashley said, I don't think so. I think we'll keep her. Well, Lytton was too sick to come pick it up so Ashley was thinking of what we should do. She called my brother Scott, and his wife Jan to see if they would be willing to bring their trailer and pick up the HORSE.  They were so nice about it and we were so thankful that they just dropped everything they were doing to come help Ashley!

Ashley went down to the stalls to see her new HORSE and she kind of gasped when she saw it! It looked so skinny and like it wasn't well. You couldn't tell when it came out with the blanket and saddle on it but she was not happy about it. She decided she would try to find that guy that wanted it because she didn't. The man and his family came out to look at it and Ashley told him she was worried about the weight. He still wanted it and thought that he could help this horse. So, luckily for Ashley she wasn't out any money. She felt bad having Scott and Jan come out for no reason but we were so happy to see them and visit with them!!

So...we are still on the lookout for a kid friendly HORSE!  I was so glad I got to go to this HORSE AUCTION with Ashley, Remington and my Mom and so happy to see my Scott and Jan! That totally made my day!

                                                     I love my brother Scott!
