A DIP IN THE POOL

June 7, 2014

This morning I went to the temple with my Mom, and on the way home it was so HOT I couldn't wait to get home and take a DIP IN THE POOL! Boston and Mikell got in with me. Boston just wanted to play "Bad Guys" most the time, and the rest of the time he just wanted me to catch him as he jumped off the footstool. I had a great time playing in the POOL with him. Now I can finally start to work on my TAN!
Catching some rays! I am scary white!

Getting comfortable putting his face in the water.

                                                           Kisses for Momma
He was showing me how he learned to float on his back in swimming lessons. It's kind of hard to do with floaties on.

CHUNKY MONKEY!

June 6, 2014
We drove up to Bountiful Canyon (all about that in my last post) and I took some cute pics of our CHUNKY MONKEY. He is the cutest 2 month old! He was so skinny when he was born and now he is so FAT! I love all of his rolls and his huge cheeks. I could totally eat him up. He is a good baby and we are so glad WAYLON is part of our FAMILY!
Proud parents of this cutie patootie!
He definitely looks like a Beckstead!
                                                          Daddy's little buddy!
Grandma Suzie loves her CHUNKY MONKEY!
Oh My Gosh! He is just the sweetest baby ever! Look at those eyes and that nose, and those big cheeks, and that cute little mouth! I just love him!

I ADORE this pic of the brothers. I was so lucky to get Boston smiling at the camera. Aren't they the cutest? I am so blessed!

ABOVE THE "B"

 June 6, 2014

Zach drove us up Bountiful Canyon above the "B" to show us the safer, but longer way to get to Farmington Canyon. It was such a beautiful drive. He showed us where he shot his deer last year and we got to hike a little and shoot off Mikell's gun and we had a great time. Boston loved hiking up to a patch of snow to make a snowball, and of course he had to throw it at me! I took lots of fun pics of Zach and Mikell and the kids. Boston's favorite thing was collecting BIG ROCKS and he could have stayed entertained with those rocks for hours. We all had a great time and were loving it up there. We saw deer with antlers on the way down and the most beautiful sunsets. What a wonderful night! I love that they enjoy NATURE and the MOUNTAINS so much!
This family is perfect for each other. They all love the great outdoors!
Finding a little patch of snow so Boston could make a snowball to throw at me!

I love that they are best buddies. I love pics like this!
Boston and Grandma Suzie on "PRIDE ROCK"

Check out this big rock Grandma!

He loved getting messy and he loved throwing Big Rocks!
Boston asked me to take a pic of his big rocks.
Boss wouldn't smile but at least he looked at the camera!
Boston picked wild flowers to give to his Mommy
I hit the cup we were aiming for!

Mikell is awesome at shooting. I wish I was as confident as her with a gun.
Check out these beautiful pics of the sunset on our drive back down the canyon.

KICK IT LIKE THE BOSS!

June 3, 2014

Mikell has been teaching Boston how to play SOCCER. Mikell was really good at SOCCER herself. She played for Davis High back in the day and she even had a scholarship to play in college but her legs got messed up so she had to turn it down. Anyway...she thought Boston would be great at it too. They bought him a net and a new BALL and he loves it! She is teaching him how to KICK, DRIBBLE and SCORE! She even taught him how to throw in the ball when it goes out of bounds. He has picked it up so quick. I think he might just be a natural at it like Kell was! It was fun to watch them play together in the front yard.
Dribbling the ball down the field
And he ends up making the goal!
I love his form. He can really whack it hard!
                                                          More power kicks!

Stopping the ball with his foot.
When they were done playing soccer, they played catch. He is doing so well!

PLAYING CARDS

June 1, 2014

We had to cancel Waylon's Blessing today because Zach got really sick. Mikell had been sick all week with Strep. Zach's came back negative but he stayed home and slept. Since Ashley and Lytton were down for the blessing, my mom invited us over for dinner and to PLAY CARDS. She had a ball playing with Remington and Big Grandma says the funniest things to the little kids. It's a crack up! We had fun playing Garbage and of course I smoked everyone! :)
Grandma Shirley had so much fun playing with Remington. She couldn't get enough of him.

We put Big Grandma's blanket down and added some measuring cups and old cell phones and he was happy as could be.
I just love Remington! He is the sweetest little thing, always giving me huge kisses and smiles.
Hasn't every grandchild ridden on this homemade horse of Grandma Shirley's?
They both look so excited to play cards don't they?

I am winning! I just love it when I go out concealed before they have laid down!!

Lytton is such a good Daddy! Love these guys!
                                              Ashley loves her Great Grandma.
