FRIENDS CHRISTMAS BREAKFAST

December 24, 2016

It's TRADITION to meet up with my FRIENDS at Kris Bauer's for our Annual Christmas Breakfast. She makes the BEST CINNAMON ROLLS ever! We bring gifts for each other and take a group pic each year.

I love these ladies so much and so grateful to call them my FRIENDS!

A box full of gifts from my sweet friends!
This group of ladies are simply the best! There is a lot of love between all of us. The sweet texts between us and the support we have for one another is amazing. I am truly blessed!

ELF ON THE SHELF

December 2016

The last week before Christmas, Boston was struggling a bit so it was time to introduce the ELF ON THE SHELF. This ELF is a silly one. Every day he is found somewhere new in the house. He keeps an eye and ear out for Boston and Waylon. Each night he returns to the North Pole to give an update on their behavior to Santa. Then he comes back early in the morning and the boys get the biggest kick out of finding him. It has worked! Boston is doing much better!

They got to name their ELF and Boston wanted to name him LESNAR for Brock Lesnar the WWE Wrestler. Here are a few of the funny things we caught LESNAR doing!
We found him on the counter making Snow Angels in sugar!

The next day we found him in the hall with paper balls that looked like snowballs all around him. the sign said, "Snowball fight anyone?"

Another day we found him in the bathroom by the toilet. It looks like he had some Elf Poops but Boston figured it was just chocolate chips! What a funny Elf!

Another night we found him in a stocking and another time he was straddling over our ornaments on the Christmas tree.

The last night we found him relaxing in a bowl full of marshmallows with a note that said, "Relaxing in a nice bubble bath before the big night! Keep being good! Santa and his team are leaving soon!"

We will miss LESNAR the ELF! He helped Boston and Waylon, who were so excited for Santa and would occasionally get a little rambunctious, to keep them on their best behavior!

MISC. DECEMBER PICS

December 2016

December was filled with fun activities, parties and time spent with family and friends. In between all of the hoopla I kept getting text pics from Ashley of her kids and puppies, and Mikell sending cute pics of the boys. Here are a few that I don't want to lose or forget:

Ashley's cute little puppies that she was selling. Seriously isn't this the cutest?
This puppy is in a Christmas Stocking
                                                 Boston and Waylon's Gingerbread Houses
                                                          Cutie Patooties!
This pic cracks me up! Look at that tongue!
                                                          Look at this Chubby Wubby!
I got Superman Jammies for Lytton. I will probably regret it! He wears them out in public!
I snuck these pics in Primary. Loved that he got chosen to play the chimes.

I love this pic of Paisley's little pony tail!
Remi and his friend at the Preschool Program
Big kisses from Paisley to Sadie. I love these two sisters!
                                                               Little Sadie 2 months old
Big hugs and loves for Grandpa Tom from Paisley

Waylon wearing the Elf Hat that Boston made.

Chase and Zach still exchange gifts at Christmastime
Remi wearing his too little Batman tank and showing me his big muscles!

SEEING SANTA

December 2016

I waited in line for an hour and a half in 20 degree temperatures so that I could get a pic of my Grandkids with SANTA!  I was frozen, numb! Once we got into Santa's little house, we felt rushed! Ashley didn't have time to put in Sadie's hairband or take the hood of Remington. Paisley was freaking out which totally shocked us because she isn't afraid of anyone! She cried hard and didn't like SANTA one bit! It was so funny! So they snapped the pic and it wasn't anything we'd hoped for! We learned our lesson. We will never go at night when it's dark and cold and we think we'll hit the mall where it's light and warm and we will never let them make us feel rushed again. Check out this super funny pic!
Sadie, Remington and Paisley
Remi refused to look at Santa again. So funny!
Remi wouldn't look at Santa and Paisley just wanted out of there!
Remi...Still not looking! Paisley is not happy!

Meanwhile, the REAL SANTA visited Mikell's Family Party. Boston was shocked when Santa gave him Pokemon cards! He told me, "Santa must've got my email!" LOL!
                                                              Boston is getting so big!
Waylon tried so hard not to cry! He was trying to be brave and he did good!
Waylon was so happy that Santa gave him Chewbacca andBoston got a Storm Trooper and Pokemon cards! The next morning Waylon kept whispering, "Santa gave me Chewy!"

MARY, JOSEPH AND JESUS

December 2016

I was thrilled to hear that Ashley's ward had asked her if she and Lytton and Sadie could play the parts of MARY, JOSEPH AND BABY JESUS in their Christmas Program. I wished I could have been there to see but I was so thankful that someone had taken a few pics of her. This is by far my favorite picture this year. I love it!
They fit the parts exactly! Doesn't Sadie make the sweetest Baby Jesus?!

UGLY SWEATER/GINGERBREAD HOUSE MAKING PARTY

December 17, 2016

We celebrated our UGLY SWEATER/GINGERBREAD HOUSE PARTY at my Dad's house in the morning. I made Breakfast Burrito's and Rudolph Pancakes for the kiddo's. Everyone brought breakfast food and it was really good. Then they got busy working on the Gingerbread Houses.
I'm so mad I didn't get a pic of all the UGLY SWEATERS together and one of the whole family together with the finished GINGERBREAD HOUSES!
The kiddo's loved these Rudolph Pancakes!

Mom won the Ugly Sweater Contest again! With Diane a close 2nd

Then the kids did their PRESENT EXCHANGE:
