POWER HITTER!

April 29, 2015

Boston was a POWER HITTER in his T-BALL GAME! They are learning how to HIT from the COACH PITCH. They get 3 tries, and then if they can't hit it, they can hit it off the Tee. I got the best video of Boston HITTING THE BALL clear out to the OUTFIELD from a COACH PITCH! He was amazing! I get to brag because I am the Grandma, but I am serious, this kid has ATHLETIC SKILL! I am so happy that Zach is his COACH, but I know it isn't easy trying to teach 3 and 4 year olds the game!

The game before, Boston was ornery and didn't want to play. He would lay down, and then go out and hold Dad's hand, and he didn't want to hold his mitt, etc...he did hit really good off the tee (they weren't coach pitching on this game). These kids are so funny to watch. Most don't have a clue what's going on. I was amazed how much they have improved from last weeks game to the game today. They are a blast to watch! I just love it! We all just laugh and enjoy these little ones.  Boston is lucky because he gets so much support. Mikell's parents, and grandparents come, me, Grandma Shirley and Grandpa Tom watch too. His Aunt and Uncle come because their son plays as well. He has his own cheering section! I am so glad we all get to enjoy it, because these years fly by!

These are pics from the last two games:

Can't get much cuter than this! Love these little guys!
He and his little friend and cousin loved to pull faces in the dugout. I bet I have 50 pics of them doing this!
Boston was a power hitter in this game!

Boston had his mitt on the ground getting ready to catch the ball!

Boston standing up with Devin, and Zach trying to get this teammate to stand up, but he didn't want to.
This pic is actually at the soccer game but wanted to give you a sample of some of the grandparents supporting him. We are missing Grandpa Tom and Papa Neal.

Here he is on first base. Hi Grandma!
He bites his nails just like his Daddy did when he was nervous.
He was refusing to play at this moment. Then he ran out and did a great job!

OVERNIGHT VEGAS TRIP

April 24, 2015

Lytton asked me if I would like to drive to VEGAS to pick up Ashley with him. He would be driving his Dad's truck and pulling the trailer with it. He was going to pick up two 4-WHEELERS, one for them and one for Zach and Mikell, that Bill was giving them. It's so hard for me to drive so far in one day and come back the next, but I said I would go. We left late, about 5:30 and ended up taking my Mom with us. We had a fun time driving down in the pouring rain. We got in really late!

The next morning Bill made us the BEST BREAKFAST BURRITOS EVER! He is the BEST COOK!  Then we played on the 4 WHEELERS and then headed home. I am so glad my mom came with us to help me entertain Remington the whole way home. He was good but it's such a long drive!

We had a great time and I am glad we made that fast TRIP down there!

*Just for my personal record I want to write down the funny things my mom and I laughed hysterically about so I don't forget it...her pj's, or lack thereof, and  her blowing her nose! I love how much and how hard we laugh when we are together. It doesn't matter where we go, we have a blast together! I love her so much!

Selfies of us driving down to Vegas
Lytton loves driving the Dodge Ram!
My Mom always pats Bill's face and tells him He is still hers!

Bill making his awesome burritos and he makes the BEST GUACAMOLE!
                                                          Playing outside with the kiddo's
Remington loved jumping on the trampoline
Grandma Suzie and Remington playing on the 4 wheeler. Love this little one!
All of us having a very happy day!
Ashley took me for a ride around the block. I loved it! I can't wait to have fun on these machines

                                                          Billy, Bella and Zander
The Bastians are so excited for their new toy!
It was windy so Ashley was trying to keep Remi's ears covered.
I am pretty sure this was Grandma Shirley's first time on a 4 wheeler

SOCCER STAR!

April 2015

Boston is only 3 years old but he was able to start playing SOCCER! I have never had so much FUN watching SOCCER! He is on his cousin, Emmett's team this year and they were so cute together! They would HUG out on the field and a little kid hit Emmett, and Boston turned around and roared in the kids face and was about to hit him back but didn't thank goodness! He is very protective over his family!!

Anyway, the GAME began, and Boston was ON FIRE! You can tell his Mom and Dad have spent hours with him playing outside. He dominated out there on the FIELD! He was able to stop the ball and turn it around and he was the only one on either team to SCORE and he made 3 GOALS! What a good little ATHLETE we have! I was so proud of Boston! It was the most fun night! Those little 3 year olds are so funny!

My friend was there to watch her Grandson play against Boston. I went over to say hello to her and she said that these teams were only supposed to have 3 year olds on them and that our team had a 4 or 5 year old playing on there that have obviously played before. I said no we don't, they are all 3 and this is everyone's first game. She said, not #7. I said #7 is my Grandson, Boston! And he is 3 years old and has never played before! She couldn't believe it! He is so much bigger and taller than most of the kids his age. He is just like his Daddy. I used to have to carry around Zach's Birth Certificate to prove to parents from the opposing team to prove his age!

I love this! He is about to make a goal. I got lots of great video of him making his goals!
Huge Kick!

Boston and his cute little cousin, Emmett

Boston charges after the ball and usually is able to take it away from the other player
I loved watching Boston dribble the ball down the field. I was so happy watching him!

Boston running off the field to take a turn sitting out. He was having so much fun out there!
Taking a break! And getting tips from Mom!

ASHLEY THE NANNY!

April 2015

Ashley is the BEST DAUGHTER EVER! She left her home for 3 weeks to watch over and take care of Bill's little kids, Bella and Zander. Bill was starting a TREK over 500 MILES LONG! I was so worried about him because he really didn't train for it. He WALKED, RAN and RODE HIS BIKE  from his home in LAS VEGAS  through the GRAND CANYON and into PHOENIX! Crazy!

During her stay in Vegas, Ashley cooked, cleaned, made meals and did homework with the kids. She also made it really fun for them too. She made spray chalk paint that dissolved and bubbled when you put vinegar on it. The kids loved it and she made lots of different colors of it. She also did a little Science Experiment. She had the kids put some NERDS into a balloon, put the balloon on top of a Dr. Pepper bottle and it filled the balloons up. So cool to see the video of it!

When Bill was done with his TREK, Ashley drove to his new house in Wikenburg, AZ. The kids had a ball playing in his pool!

Although it was exhausting for Ashley, she loved spending time with her little brother and sister. Remington loved it too! The kids were so cute with him and he loved having the entertainment!

I am so proud of  Ashley, and for the sacrifice she makes for her family!
This is Ashley with her Dad before he sets off on his 500 mile trek!
Bill came across some wildlife when he was walking through the Grand Canyon
Remington loved playing with his Aunt Bella
I think these two look so much alike. Big brown eyes and big lips and the same smile

Ashley makes her nummy choc. chip cookies with the kids
Zander blowing up his balloon with Nerds and Dr Pepper
I missed this cute boy while he was gone!
Ashley is such a good Mommy! I love that cute little face on Remi!
Nothings more fun than playin' in the dirt. Remi loved playing with Uncle Zander!
Grandpa Billy and Remington playing in his pool
                                                             Another shot of the pool
This looks like so much fun! Wish I was there right now. Can't wait to visit this place!
