BEACHIN' IT AT BEAR LAKE

Aug 30, 2014

I wanted to drive up to BEAR LAKE on Saturday.  Zach and Lytton had to work and Mikell and the kids went with her family to Pineview so me and Ashley and Remington drove up to BEAR LAKE on our own. We had such a great time! The weather was really cloudy and windy so we didn't think we'd stop to play in the water. We were just going to drive around and get a RASPBERRY SHAKE. But as we got up there, the SUN CAME OUT!! It was breezy but we called Tanner cuz she and her family were up there at a cabin and they told us to park there and just walk the small distance to the BEACH. Although we weren't dressed for is, we got in the WATER. It was so much FUN! Ashley took her sweater and garment top off and just went in with her tank top. I said who cares? I 'll just go in my levi capris. We had a fun time with Remington and Winston. They both loved the water and Remington really loved playing in the SAND. Afterwards we went and got RASPBERRY SHAKE. I have always wanted to try one of those and it did not disappoint.

When we got home we watched a movie an I had a wonderful time with Ashley and Remington today. Thanks for the great time Ash!
                                                  Winston just loved the water!

This little guy loved playing in the sand. He entertained himself with this stick.

He has the biggest feet. I love pics like this. He was a happy, sandy, wet boy, that's for sure!

I love this little guy so much! I love making memories with all of my little ones!

This was funny! When we pulled in we were on Shirley St. and the first cross street was Ray St. My mom thought that was great!

When we got home Lytton and Remington mowed the lawn and then we watched a movie together. I had the best time today!

ASHLEY'S B-DAY DINNER

Aug 29, 2014

24 years ago I gave BIRTH to a BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL! Ashley is now a wonderful mother to a beautiful 11 month old boy, and an awesome wife to Lytton. I am so proud of her and for the great job she does in raising her son and making a beautiful home where everyone wants to be. She's a great cook, an animal lover, a plant grower, a spiritual daughter, and the most organized, hard working woman! She is totally amazing. We went to the Ogden Temple Open House and then to Wood Smoke Barbecue for dinner. I hope you had a great BIRTHDAY ASHLEY! I love you so very much!

OGDEN TEMPLE OPEN HOUSE

Aug 29, 2014

We attended the OGDEN TEMPLE OPEN HOUSE together. It was SO BEAUTIFUL! I could not get over the CELESTIAL ROOM! The light fixtures were amazing. I was just so thankful that my FAMILY could be together there. I didn't think Zach and Kell were going to make it because Zach got caught in horrible traffic coming home from helping Grandma Tom with his water slide. It was a TENDER MERCY from the Lord that Ashley and Lytton were running late, because by the time we got out of the movie and were walking into the TEMPLE, Zach and Kell were just walking through the parking lot and saw us. They were able to go through the TEMPLE with us! That made my whole night! I wanted to go there with Boston so bad! I had talked with him so much the night before and knew he would be disappointed if he couldn't go in. I wanted to cry I was so happy that my kids were there with me. I was also very happy that Diane watched Grandma so Mom could go with us.(Diane went the night before with her friend).  And then we also brought Cyndi Chamberlain with us. It was the first time she had been in the TEMPLE and it was so great having her there with us. She loved the beauty of the Celestial Room too. I cannot wait for the day when all of my FAMILY is in the CELESTIAL ROOM when my Grandkids get married there!! I love the TEMPLE and I have a very strong TESTIMONY that this beautiful building is the LORD'S HOUSE. That the ordinances performed there will make it so we can be SEALED FOR ETERNITY to our FAMILIES.

We took some pics afterwards and then went to dinner for Ashley's birthday.
                                                            My beautiful family!
There is no other place I would rather be with these folks than the temple. Love them all!
