YELLOWSTONE!

Aug 7-14, 2014

YELLOWSTONE was awesome this year! We saw some new sites and went on a new HIKE and re-visited some of our favorites again. I loved being there making MEMORIES with Boston. We had fun playing games, building BEAR TRAPS, throwing rocks, riding bikes, and sleeping in the TENT. There were a bazillion pics taken and so I am just going to throw in random ones throughout the week. Pics cannot do this place justice. It is just so BEAUTIFUL! It's so hard to leave. Thanks Zach and Mikell and the Beckstead family for letting me join your vacation!
The scenery is beautiful whether its the lake, the river, the meadow. It's just endless beauty!
Boston and Emmett shooting their guns and getting all of the bad guys!

I love sitting by the fire each night. That's probably my favorite thing about camping.

Evie took the boys on a bunch of crazy adventures to save her daughter, the princess from the bad guys!

Looking at all the mud pots:

I love Waylon in this coon hat!
Boston loved riding his bike back at camp. There is a perfect hill for him to ride down. We put the Go Pro on his helmet and video taped it. It was awesome!
THE FIRE HOLE FOR SWIMMING: Zach got awesome video of him, Melanie and Rachel jumping in the rapids at the fire hole. The water was so full and the rapids were strong. They had a blast!

Boston swimming on his own in the river.

Every day we would stop at a new place to have a picnic lunch. The kids loved throwing rocks. They loved it when Zach would throw in boulders!

WEST THUMB. I loved this little walk around the lake. It was so beautiful!

Me, Pops, Nan, Boston, Zach, Waylon, Mikell, Dan and Neal

Zach was so awesome to make sure we had piles of wood for our fires each night. He would cut down trees and Boston was right there the whole time helping him.

This was so funny! A Chinese man saw Boston climbing the wall in his cowboy boots and hat and he said "Ah! A real cowboy. I take pics. He took a ton of them and then a bunch of other Chinese people joined in. They couldn't believe they saw a real cowboy in the Wild, Wild West!

I had a dream that I fell backwards here trying to take a selfie. Freaky!

 Look at those cute faces!

Zach is always so good about playing with the kids. They all adore him. This was funny because they started to make a mud volcano. After awhile the kids are all playing around doing other things and Zach was by himself still playing in the mud. Always a kid!

 Papa Neal with Way Way
Me and Zach. I love this kid. He just loves the outdoors so much and it was fun to share this with him.

Me and Boston built a big bear trap back at camp but we built this little one while we had a picnic. It worked! No bears came into our picnic area although there were tons of bear warnings in this area!

Zach is such a great Daddy. Here he is holding Waylon. I love this pic!
I had to get a pic under all of the antlers in Jackson Hole!
