OGDEN TEMPLE

May 6, 2017

After eating at the Prairie Schooner, me, Mom and Diane went to the OGDEN TEMPLE to do some FAMILY names. We did the Iniatory for them and I had the most incredible experience I have ever had in the TEMPLE. It was pretty special for me and it really strengthened my TESTIMONY that what we do for our FAMILY MEMBERS that have passed on, is REAL! There are those that are truly waiting to get their work done and it was an HONOR for me to perform that service for them. Both me and Diane had incredible experiences and the lady that performed the ordinance was crying and felt the same thing I did. It was the most AMAZING EXPERIENCE I have had there. I feel so BLESSED to have been a part of this. And a big SHOUT OUT to my sister, Debbie for spending countless hours finding these names for us and piecing our FAMILY together.
FAMILIES truly are FOREVER! And I LOVE MINE!

PRAIRIE SCHOONER

May 7, 2017

I thought it would be fun to CELEBRATE JENNY'S BIRTHDAY so I made reservations at the PRAIRIE SCHOONER. I forgot how much I love this place. The ambience is so much fun and the food is delish!  Everyone had a great time and loved their food. I can't wait to take the grandkids here someday. They would love eating out of COVERED WAGON and seeing the BEAR AND WOLVES.
Here we are eating in the covered wagons! What a fun dinner we had!
Jenny, Madison, Dalyn, Diane and Joyce...I knew Joyce would order the Ribeye Steak!
Little Briggs loved the covered wagon too!
Me and Kell...the best daughter in-law!

I loved the decor in here. The bear and wolves and all of the covered wagons and fire pits.
 Mona and Dad

Mona got the Steak Salad It was huge and she said she can eat this in 3 meals!
So we ate this for two days!
Mom loved her chicken fried steak and Cinnamon sugar Yam...delish!
 Jenny, the cute BIRTHDAY GIRL!

BOSTON'S SPRING SOCCER

May 6, 2017

Boston started SOCCER a few weeks ago but because of wrestling he missed a few games. So this was his first game this Spring. He was so much fun to watch and he made 2 GOALS! He played hard especially when he saw that Papa Billy, Zander, Bella and Graham showed up to watch him.

It was extra fun for us because Mikell was the substitute COACH for this game and she did a fantastic job!

Boston gets so excited when he makes a goal. He always throws his hands up in celebration!

 Defending the goal!

 Power kicker right here!
It was nice that Graham came to support Boston too.

Watching Kell coach these kids was pretty fun too!
Zander and Boston while Boss was sitting out. They are pretty serious about this game!
I was so excited to see cute Bella. She was lovin on me the whole time and was sad when she found out I wasn't going to be driving to Idaho with them today. I love this little girl!

 Kell coaching these cute boys!
Zach was so happy that Zander and Papa Billy were here to watch.
Treats are one of the best parts of playing the game.

BOSTON'S KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM

May 5, 2017

Boston did a great job singing and doing the actions in his KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM. It was a really cute program. He warned me I would probably cry in one of the songs and he was wrong! I cried in two of the songs!! And laughed in a few others. They were really cute songs! He had a fun time and I am so glad I got to go watch. I am so proud of him!

 One proud Momma right here!

So proud of you Boston!

WEST YELLOWSTONE IS EMPTY!

April 30, 2017

We drove into WEST YELLOWSTONE and I couldn't believe it. I felt we were the only ones there. It was so crazy walking down the quiet streets and most the shops were closed because it was Sunday but my goodness it was a weird feeling.

See? It looks like a ghost town!

I always take a pic under the Montana sign.

YELLOWSTONE IN SPRING

April 30, 2017

I am so happy we made this spontaneous trip to YELLOWSTONE. It was so great because there were hardly any people there. We got to see things we normally don't get to see when we go in the summer because the parking and it is just too hot and too crowded. Today we didn't have any problem with parking and there were absolutely no crowds! We walked right up and sat on the front row to see OLD FAITHFUL just minutes before it went off. There were only a few Chinese busses which was nice because usually there are tons of busses full of people.

It was a little windy which made it a little chilly but when it didn't blow it was about 55 degrees.

I have to tell you about the encounter we had with the BUFFALO at Fountain Point. We were walking on the walkway, and turned the bend and bam! There were 2 BUFFY'S right there! There was an Asian girl that walked right up to it to take pictures. We were freaking out! Kell video taped the whole thing because we were certain she was going to get rammed! I kept saying, No, no, no! In my Asian accent but she kept getting up close. It would swing its head and stamp its foot and if it didn't have a little jump to get on the boardwalk it would've come after her, I'm sure of it! Then this dumb older lady did the same thing right after her. We decided to go the long way around to avoid the BUFFALO because people, they are WILD ANIMALS. This isn't a petting zoo!  Although it was cool to see it that close up, it was a little too close for my comfort and we weren't taking any chances!

This is as close as I wanted to be to them!

Here we are on the front row of Old Faithful. Not too many people here.

This is steam from the hot pots but with the wind blowing it got us a bit wet. It was like walking through fog.
This is Grand Prismatic Springs that is normally so packed in the summer and look there are only a handful of people.

I love the beauty of this place! I just love coming to YELLOWSTONE and I love that Zach and Kell and the boys love it so much. There is always so much to see and it's a beautiful, peaceful place.
