FRIENDS AT SETABELLO

August 21, 2012

My FRIENDS Kim, Karen and Sarah (We served in the RELIEF SOCIETY PRESIDENCY together) got together for DINNER at SETABELLO at the Farmington Station. They have really nummy AUTHENTIC ITALIAN PIZZA. It was really good. We couldn't leave without having some GELATO! Delish!  It was nice VISITING with them. They are AMAZING WOMEN! I am so HAPPY to have them as my FRIENDS!

SUNDANCE

August 18, 2012

Since we were already up the Provo Canyon to see Bridal Veil Falls, we figured we'd be nuts to drive a few more miles to see SUNDANCE! I had never been there before either. Can you believe that? I have lived here my whole life and have never been up there! It's only like an hour away! That's ridiculous! From now I am going to check out all the local sights in UTAH! It is so BEAUTIFUL! We only stayed at SUNDANCE for a short time but I thought it was kind of neat!

BRIDAL VEIL FALLS

August 18, 2012

I had never been to BRIDAL VEIL FALLS so after the Great Salt Lake, we drove up the PROVO CANYON. I have never been there and was so excited to see all the fun TUBING and CAMPGROUNDS! I am SO GOING CAMPING there next year! I want to go TUBING down the RIVER so bad! It was nuts seeing people climb clear up to the FALLS.
I zoomed on these pics so you could see the people climbing up to these falls. Amazing!

GREAT SALT LAKE

August 18, 2012

Judy had never been to see the GREAT SALT LAKE so we drove out there with her Grandson, Nathan. It was as YUCKY as ever with SLIMY gunk to walk through and TONS of GNATS! But its still fun to walk clear out there and only have the WATER come up to your thighs! Too bad they don't re-open SALTAIR and have fun stuff out there to enjoy. It's kind of embarrassing to see all of these TOURISTS come out there and I'm sure they think, how disappointing! I wish they could make it a nice tourist attraction again!
Nathan and Judy...look how far we have walked from the beach and still so shallow!
                                                                     Judy and I
I am standing clear out in the middle of the Lake it seems, yet it is still only to my knees!
Isn't this gross? Our flip flops are covered in gnats! Disgusting! Thank goodness they all flew away when we picked up our sandals!

DEMOLITION DERBY

Aug 15, 2012

After we went to the Petting Zoo, we went to the DEMOLITION DERBY. It was by far the best one I have seen. They had a ton of CARS this time, and the wait time between heats, was not long at all! The best part was when they had TRUCKS in the DEMOLITION DERBY! That is the first time I had seen that. This one was so good because they were videotaping it for a cable channel. It was so ENTERTAINING! I was nervous that Boston wouldn't like it because it was so LOUD and I thought he would get bored, but he was mesmerized by it. He loved watching the CARS CRASH!
Look how intently he was watching this Demolition Derby!
                                                                 The Crash 'Em Up Cars!
Still intently watching the show. Mikell and Zach

I loved watching him watch the show!

LATE NIGHT WITH THE GIRLFRIENDS

August 10, 2012
I almost to forgot to post my pics of my FRIENDS! We were going to have a SLEEPOVER with all of us GIRLS because Shelli's hubby was out of town, but everyone had a ton of stuff to do in the morning! So we had GREAT FOOD, LOTS OF TALKING, and SUPER COMPANY! I LOVE them all! They are just the neatest WOMEN!

PETTING ZOO

Aug 15, 2012

Zach, Mikell and Boston joined me at the DAVIS COUNTY FAIR! Since I work for the COUNTY, they throw a DINNER for all of the EMPLOYEES and their families the night of the FAIR. So we ate and then we took BOSTON to the PETTING ZOO! He was in HEAVEN! He was so cute! He wasn't scared at all. He would PET them and then CLAP HIS HANDS! Then he would run to another one and try to KISS the BABY ANIMALS (open mouth kiss!).  They had BABY GOATS, SHEEP, COWS, CAMEL, DONKEY, LLAMAS, TURTLES and even a BABY KANGAROO! It was SO MUCH FUN watching him get all excited. Sometimes he would stick out his little tongue and run away just giggling. I didn't want to leave, I was enjoying watching him so much! I took a ton of pics but didn't really get any real good ones. But check them out:
Here he is clapping after he petted the goat! He was such a crack up!
                                                        Here is the "MOO" cow!

Is that not the cutest face you have ever seen? I loved that they had a baby camel!

He was so excited to see all of these cute baby animals!
They even had a "HEE HAW!" he thought that was really cool!
Here he is looking at the baby llama. Daddy held him so he could pet him.

HOWDY PARTNER!

Aug 12, 2012

Aunt Ashley bought Boston a cute COWBOY HAT and he LOVED IT! He wore it for a long time without trying to take it off, which is rare! He is such a cutie! Check out this CUTE COWBOY!
He just woke up so he was pretty serious there for awhile!

He's even cute with a BINKY!
