CONFERENCE HANDOUT

March 30, 2014

I made these M&M CONFERENCE HANDOUTS for my kids, and my sisters. I want them to prepare themselves for CONFERENCE next week. I want them to think of a question that they want answers to so that they will be in tune next week and hopefully will be able to get that answer. I look so forward to hearing from our beloved PROPHET and his APOSTLES. It's something I look forward to every 6 months. I look forward to our TRADITIONAL BREAKFAST with BELGIAN WAFFLES and STRAWBERRIES. I can't wait!!

WOMENS CONFERENCE

March 29, 2014

Ashley got a few tickets to go to the CONFERENCE CENTER to see the WOMENS CONFERENCE. I was so excited to go. I made us each a notebook with this years theme, and then some cute little note paper to go inside.

Diane, Debbie and Jessica came with us too. It ended up being a wonderful evening. It was an historic day because at this particular conference they allowed girls 8 years old and older to attend instead of having separate conferences for Young Women and one for Relief Society. The feeling inside the CONFERENCE CENTER was awesome. It's just so great being there in real life. All of the messages were uplifting and edifying. I am so THANKFUL for my membership in the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS. I am so THANKFUL for the KNOWLEDGE I have of HEAVENLY FATHER'S PLAN so that I can return to him someday. What a great BLESSING it is to belong to HIS CHURCH. It all makes perfect sense to me and makes me want to be a better person because of it. I loved having my SISTERS, my NIECE and my beautiful DAUGHTER there with me to enjoy it. Afterwards, we went to eat at Applebee's. What a great night! I cannot wait for CONFERENCE next weekend!!

This is the binder I made for me and Ashley to take notes in at the Conference Center
This is inside the binder to write the speaker, scriptures, quotes and references. I love making fun stuff like this.

5 GENERATIONS!

March 29, 2014

Grandma Shirley brought Big Grandma over to visit with the new baby. So we snapped a new FIVE GENERATION PHOTO. I know I get more excited than most over pics like this but one day little Waylon will love it. He will be in awe that he had a picture taken with his GREAT, GREAT GRANDMA. I love it!

WAYLON'S HOMECOMING

March 30, 2014

Waylon came home the day after he was born. But this weekend he got lots of visitors. Ashley and Lytton came down to meet him, Grandma Shirley and Big Grandma came too. They just couldn't get enough of this cute little guy. Boston is learning to be gentle, he sometimes struggles, and Remington was just dang cute! He is getting so big, so fast. He is at a fun age. He is going to be 6 months old next week! It was fun to have all 3 of my GRANDSONS together. I can only imagine how much fun it will be this time next year when they are all running around.

Here are a few pics of this weekend:

Grandma is only 100 years older than Waylon. Crazy!

These two were cute together. I was hoping to get a pic of Remi holding Grandmas hand but he'd let go just as I was snapping the pic.
                                                                  Cute little bug!

Zach helping Remington to walk. Just think a few more months and he will be!

INTRODUCING WAYLON NEAL WRIGHT

March 26, 2014

What a WONDERFUL day today is! Zach and Mikell are the PROUD PARENTS, and Boston is the PROUD BROTHER of WAYLON NEAL WRIGHT.  Waylon joined our FAMILY at 2:05 PM weighing in at 7lbs 4oz and 19 inches long. He has the most beautiful set of BLONDE HAIR I have ever seen on a BABY! I didn't think he looked much like Boston until they showed me a side by side, which I will include in here. I thought he looked just like the Beckstead's. Now I think he will be a little clone of Boston.

Mikell had a pretty dang easy DELIVERY! She dilated from a 3 to a 9 in one hour and pushed 3 times and he was here! I am so happy for her. She was amazing!

When I first laid eyes on WAYLON I just started crying. I am so happy that he is here, and that he is healthy. He hardly made a peep and was just so chill the whole day and night. I look forward to getting to know this little guy and I can't wait to see what his personality is going to be like. I know he will bring so much happiness into our FAMILY. I am so blessed to have 3 wonderful GRANDSONS. MY JOY IS OVERFLOWING! There is nothing better than being a GRANDMA!

Look at all that hair! I can't get over it!
This is BOSTON on the left, and Waylon on the right. Don't they look a lot a like?
Boston checkin' out baby brother making sure all the parts are there and working.

Giving kisses and then snuggles like Mufasa gives Simba...seriously so cute!
Proud Papa. Zach is such a wonderful Daddy and I pleased as punch he has 2 sons!
Mikell is such a great Mom and I love her so much for it!
Happy, happy Grandma Suzie. I love this little guy so much already!

MY SPECIAL DATE

March 26, 2014

I got to spend all day just ONE ON ONE with BOSTON! His Mommy was in the HOSPITAL giving BIRTH to his brand new BABY BROTHER! So, Boston and I went on another SPECIAL DATE. He loves to call it a DATE because his Mommy and Daddy get to go on DATES. We went to Farmington Station to see the MOVIE MR PEABODY AND SHERMAN. He sat all the way through it with the help of his own big bag of POPCORN, LICORICE, and a SPRITE. He was so good! As soon as the MOVIE ended he said, "Grandma, I love Sherman and his glasses!"  I don't think he really understood the movie all that much but it kept him entertained. Then we went and SPLASHED IN PUDDLES, and watched the WATER SHOW and then headed to Grandma Shirley's for some lunch, and played with Ray's cowboy hat. After that, we headed to the HOSPITAL to meet his new BABY BROTHER, WAYLON! I had so much fun on our SPECIAL DATE and I cannot wait til our next one!

                                                              I love this little cowboy!
Grandma Shirley telling Boston she is taking him to Wyoming Downs this summer to see the race horses. He's super excited!

CANDY DISHES

March 22, 2015

I forgot to add these little cuties to my CRAFT DAY. I had seen these on PINTEREST and thought it would be fun to make them. They are all from ALL A DOLLAR and you just add a touch of E600 glue and that stuff really works!  APOCATHARY JARS are so pricey, so hey for $2 I thought I'd give them a try. I can't wait to fill them with CANDY and GOODIES at my next PARTY!  The 3-TIERED PLATES would look so cute at a MEXICAN FIESTA don't ya think?

I am going to make some more with the bowl in the middle. These pics don't do it justice. It's cuter in real life!

Hopefully you'll come to my next party so you can check them out!

BELLS PALSY

March 21, 2014

I came home from work totally EXHAUSTED on Thursday night. It was super busy because it was the last day to file for CANDIDACY for the upcoming election. When Zach came home he said, Mom, what's wrong with your face?  I said, "Nothing. What do you mean?"  He said, "the right side of your mouth is all droopy!"  I ran to look into the mirror and sure enough it was starting to DROOP! I thought, OH NO! I am going to get BELLS PALSY! It will look like I had a STROKE! I thought maybe because I am just extra tired. When I woke up in the morning it wasn't that bad. When I went to work the ladies said it was starting to DROOP again. I immediately went to the DOCTOR and he put me on PREDNIZONE and some other STEROID and he said hopefully because I came in within 24 hours of the first symptom, I hopefully will be ok but there are of course no guarantees. But he said I definitely had BELLS PALSY! The whole time I kept thinking how funny I was going to look in all the pictures with my new grandbaby when he arrives! Then I thought, MY GOSH! I get all the weird stuff! I am sick of it! Anyway, I feel BLESSED because this medicine has helped me and it has not progressed and has even gotten better. The bad thing is that it has given me INSOMNIA. I was exhausted and even took Nyquil for my cold, and it usually knocks me out. I stayed up till 3:00 on Friday and 4:00am on Saturday! 4:00 am!!!  I only got 3 hours sleep. This is not good! So I hope and PRAY that I can SLEEP tonight and that my DROOPINESS will not come back!
