THE ROUND-UP

   Sept 2012

I am so excited that Ashley and Lytton got to go on a real ROUND-UP! Lytton's Dad had to go up to the BIG ONION (the mountain where they keep the COWS for the summer) to bring all the CATTLE down. There were over 1,350 mother COWS and that doesn't count all the BABY CALVES! They started early in the morning around 6:00 am,  and came off the mountain around 1:30 in the afternoon. Ashley was in HEAVEN! She loves RIDING HORSES. Lytton doesn't enjoy RIDING but his whole family were so excited that he came. They were shocked that he even showed up wearing a COWBOY HAT! They both had a great time and they were so SORE from RIDING for so long! I am so happy that Ashley gets to experience this. Isn't this just so awesome that Ashley gets to live her DREAM?  Check out their pics:
                                                                           Livin' the Dream!

Here is Ashley when they first started at 6:00 am
Ash all bundled up and excited for this experience
There were a lot of family and friends that joined them. Probably around 20 people helped out.

Ashley and Lytton fit so perfectly together!

                                                                 Cute Country Bumpkins!

                                                  Lytton with his dad, Lynn
So inlove... holding hands while they ride!
This is Lytton's favorite place on the mountain. He was going to propose to Ashley here.

They both had such a great day together!

LOGAN TRIP

Sept 28, 2012

Today was the last day off for me during the week. I am so sad to say that I no longer get to work 10 hour days, 4 days a week. I now have to work 8 hour days, 5 days a week. :(  So, me, mom, Grandma and Steven drove up to LOGAN to see Ashley and Lytton. Mom wanted to see their townhouse and so we went there and then took them to lunch. Steven wanted to go to Chuck-A-Rama.. He ate "9 chickens" that means 9 pieces of chicken!!  Then Steven wanted to go see the LOGAN TEMPLE, and then we drove by Ashley's work, IFA, and then on the way home Steven wanted to see the new BRIGHAM CITY TEMPLE. We had a really nice time together and Steven behaved himself mostly.
Steven wanted Ash to sit on this stool inside the restaurant for pic. She is so beautiful!

                                                         My sweet mom and grandma!
Steven wanted the waitress to take our pic in front of the covered wagon!

Ashley works at this IFA Country Store!

FED EX DRIVER

Sept 2012

Zach has been working at FED EX for about 6 months. He started out as a LOADER but quickly moved up to DRIVER! We are all so PROUD of him! He called me the other day to see if he could stop by my work so I could see him in his TRUCK. I was so excited to see him in his FED EX UNIFORM and his FED EX TRUCK! It was way bigger than I thought it was. I am so happy for him!
Here comes the FED EX MAN!
Zach makes an awesome Fed Ex man!
                                                            Zach showing me his truck!
He is definitely the cutest FED EX driver!

His truck is almost empty, but every day it is packed full of boxes!

                                                     Good-bye Fed Ex Driver!

ZACH'S 24TH B-DAY

Sept 23, 2012

Zach turned 24 years old today! We celebrated his BIRTHDAY a few weeks ago, but today we went to the Becksteads to CELEBRATE. We ate BARBECUE RIBS, corn on the cob, and potatoes. Mikell made him a DELICIOUS CAKE and then we went to the PARK to play with Zach's new toy! He got this GUN that shoots a play DUCK that flies around. He was so excited to play with it. So we headed to the park and he and Nick had fun SHOOTING at the DUCK! Then we played on the SWINGS and we had a fun time together. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZACHY-BO!

Zach opening his gifts at the Becksteads
Boston thought this birthday cake was for him and that he could blow out the candles.

Zach had a great time shooting this flying duck. You have to hit it 3 times to shoot it down.
The duck flies up high and twists around so it makes it hard to shoot it. What a fun thing for Zach!

SNOWBIRD

SEPT 17-20, 2012

I was so sad that Joyce and Jenny couldn't make it up to SNOWBIRD with us this year. Joyce had to have her GALL BLADDER taken out! Ouch!  But I was super happy that my mom and Grandma came up and Mikell and Boston came up on Thursday to SWIM and eat up there. Zach came up after work to SWIM and eat dinner too. I was so HAPPY that they came up! We had a great time. Jessica, Brody and Reece came up on Friday to hang out with us. We ate and went for a walk up to OCTOBERFEST and it was so beautiful up there! The LEAVES were changing colors and the weather was so nice...almost hot, but I just couldn't enough of it up there. It is always so RELAXING and it feels so good to be up there breathing FRESH AIR!
Me and Mom spent HOURS playing GARBAGE and we didn't even get dressed until about 4:30 on Friday. It felt so good to just hang out in our jammies playing cards and watching movies. This is such a relaxing vacation! I love SNOWBIRD!
                                                      Boston! He loves Snowbird!
Boston loves playing in the water....this water was so warm it wasn't very refreshing!
                                                      Me and my favorite boy!
                                                             Kell and Boss Man
Mom was exhausted so she slept while we swam! Grandma enjoyed watching Boston swim
Inside, by the elevators they have a ski lift chair, skis and pine trees...perfect pic props!
                                                               Zach, Boston and Mikell
Zach throwing Boston in the air. He laughed and laughed and loved it!
Reece with her Great, and Great, Great Grandma's! One lucky girl!
Brody, Reece and Jessica...I was so glad they came up!
Brody, Reece, Big Grandma, Grandma Shirley and Sue
                                                          Me and Grandma
