HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU OLD FOSSIL!

I was asked by a co-worker to make a DINOSAUR COOKIE BOUQUET for a guy at work that is turning 50. She went to school with him since Elementary. I have never made a bouquet before so I warned her but decided to try it anyway. She wanted one of the cookies to say "HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLD FOSSIL" . She found the idea in cookie by design. They cost $65 for the same bouquet!! Well, I made the cookies, frosted them and got super DIZZY again! (I have been fighting dizziness for a few weeks now) so as I started decorating them I felt horrible. Judy was SO SWEET to come help me. She is such a great friend! They ended up turning out cute and I took them to work and put them all together. Everyone really liked them! I went backwards with the pics from finished project, to frosting and decorating to the day before when I was baking them.

We put an 8th grade pic of him on the front of the pot
                                                 Sorry a little fuzzy...just like I feel! :(

                                                               Judy was a great helper!

Holly Bradley Gets Married at the Courthouse

Today Holly came in to the Courthouse to get married. Mom had to come up to go to Steven's so she stopped by to see her get married. Holly was SO happy! She and Chris made up their own vows and they were really beautiful. Right in the middle of the vows, Mom's phone starts ringing. She couldn't find it in her purse so we couldn't really hear his vows. Mom was so embarrassed! I hope Holly has a happy life with Chris. She is living in Fruit Heights by Cherry Hill.

MIKELL IS IN TOWN AND SHE IS CRAVING SPAGHETTI

Mikell came in town this weekend because she was needing a fix of her nieces and nephews. She misses them so much! She had a sleepover with them and painted her nieces nails, and they went swimming. She is the best AUNT ever! Then she called and invited me to go to dinner with her family to celebrate Nick's b-day ( I love that Kid!). Anyway...Mikell has been craving SPAGHETTI so we went to ROBINTINO'S. I had LASAGNA and it was so CHEESY good! I really enjoyed spending time with the BECKSTEAD'S. They are SO nice and I am SO happy that ZACH married into that FAMILY. They are the BEST! Thanks Mikell, Melanie, Neal, and Nick! I had a GREAT time with you tonight!

THE BREAKFAST CLUB

I have some of the most AMAZING FRIENDS! I look forward to each month spending time with them. We used to go to dinner once a month and then in December, my friend Kris invited all of us to her house for BREAKFAST. It was so much fun so we decided to do it once a month. We each take a month and rotate to each others homes. I took my turn in January. This month we met at Mary Riggs' home. She has a beautiful home and she made the best food! She made crepes, hashbrowns with melted cheese, bacon, biscuits and gravy, fruit, and juice. It was DELICIOUS! She went all out and we had such a great time together. Some of our friends weren't able to make it (Cozette, Suzanne Blankinship, Leslie, Stephanie, and Mary Ann) and we missed them but we'll see them next month. Brooke Wallwork, Kim Foust, Shelli Hunger, Mary Riggs, Kris Bauer and Janice Johnson were there today. I LOVE these ladies! I am SO BLESSED to have such AWESOME FRIENDS!

JORDAN RIVER TEMPLE

Friday was my day off so me and Judy wanted to go to the TEMPLE. I have always wanted to go to different temples and since it was SNOWING so hard I didn't want to drive up hill to the Bountiful Temple so we decided to go to the JORDAN RIVER TEMPLE. I had never been there. It had been a few months since I had been to the temple so I recommitted myself to go at LEAST  once a month!  We did initiatories and I had forgotten how beautiful the blessings are that are promised to us if we keep our covenants. I got teary eyed and Judy was overcome and she came out with puffy eyes :)  It was such a wonderful experience and I came out feeling so good. I feel so blessed to belong to the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS! What a wonderful feeling it is to SERVE in the temple!

Making Arancini (Mini Rice Cakes) with Debbie

For the March Birthdays at work we decided to have ITALIAN food. My friends at work had a taste of ARANCINI in Feb and they asked if I would make it for the luncheon. Debbie was SO SWEET to help me make them. They take 2 days to make and you dirty LOTS of pans and dishes. When we were making them I told Debbie that they just take TOO MUCH TIME AND EFFORT to make. But then we TASTED them and OH. MY. GOSH! They were SO WORTH IT! I just wanted to say THANK YOU DEBBIE! Everyone LOVED them and appreciated the amount of time and effort put into making them.

Fun at Work

Remember those Rated PG-13 Cookies I made for V-Day for work? Well I was asked to make some for St Patricks Day. Everyone in our building is trying to figure out who the clever cook is but it is still "Top Secret" Anyway...here are my St Patricks Day Cookies. They have a good luck charm tattoo on the CHEEK! I'm the first to admit...I DO NOT know how to make SHAMROCKS!!

THEN...It was Dax's 1 Yr. Anniversary for working with us. He is such a great guy and he is a ton of fun! When we get really busy doing passports, he is such a great help to us because he always jumps in to take all of the photos for us so me and Cyndi decorated his office with all of the photo frames we saved for the week and I wrote a note on the door that said, "We couldn't "picture" working without you here! Thanks for all you do" and signed everyone in our departments name. He was shocked when he came to work. We have a lot of fun at work and I work the best people ever. I am one LUCKY girl!

FUN AT BOONDOCKS!

Erin invited me to go to Boondocks to play LASER TAG with her, Jessica and Jackson. I told Jack that I was going to get him good for all the times he's shot me with his play guns at Debbie's house. Well I didn't get the opportunity to get him because we were on the same team :)  I'm glad too cuz we WON! After Laser tag we played games and I kicked Erin's butt on Dance Dance Revolution...it was totally a fluke! But we had fun and I'm going to miss them when they go home!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Steven called everyone in the family to tell them to come to my house on Sunday, March 13th at 5:00, he just forgot to tell me and it was not meant to be a SURPRISE party but then I found out and because I wasn't feeling very good (I had another DIZZY SPELL that lasted 6 days!) and my basement FLOODED again!! So my house smelled like MILDEW so we had the party at Debbie's. Thanks to Deb and Jessica we had ice cream and cake and Jessica's NUMMY RED VELVET cupcakes...they're simply the BEST! Because my birthday is the day before St Patrick's Day, Steven always makes me dress up in green and always makes me wear a pumpkin head for my nickname, PUNKY! I'm PUNKY THE PUMPKIN :) Before I show you the pics, I just want to THANK my family for coming to my party. I was SO HAPPY that Scott, Jan, Stacy  Brandon, Erin and her kids came. It was great having them all there! Thanks and I LOVE YOU ALL!

Judy took me to Chili's for my b-day and they made me wear the sombrero while they sang their Happy Birthday Song:
