Lake Havasu

Zach and Bill had an opportunity to wash tractors and dump trucks at a construction site and make a lot of money doing it. The construction site was in Lake Havasu. So we decided to make a day trip out of it and we drove there to hang out on the beach. We packed up a picnic and got the kids and we drove 2 1/2 hours to get there. It was perfect weather...78 degrees! Can I tell you how good that felt?  When we got there we took pictures of the LONDON BRIDGE...yes, you heard me right...the ACTUAL LONDON BRIDGE!! Actually there have been 3 London Bridges, but this is the one that was FALLING DOWN...8 inches a year to be exact. So they had an auction and a man bought it and had it shipped in pieces and he fixed them and then put it up at Lake Havasu!  It was awesome. We pretended we were in London ;)
After seeing the London Bridge we went to the beach and played with the kids and layed out and had a picnic. When we had enough sun we went to the construction site to give Zach and Bill some food. They had worked ALL day and still had ALL night to finish. They got home late but with full pockets :)
I had such a fun weekend with my kids! They are the best. We celebrated my birthday early this weekend and I enjoyed every minute of it!
