DEER HUNTING...KIND OF!

September 28, 2013

Zach asked me to drive up with him to FARMINGTON CANYON with Boston. I said I would even though FARMINGTON CANYON scares me to death! He needed to give Chase some batteries and go up and check on him to see how he was doing on the MUZZLE LOADER DEER HUNT. I have always wanted to see where exactly they go HUNTING so I was glad I went with him. It wasn't too bad driving up there and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL where they set up CAMP. I was so surprised how flat the land is that they CAMP on and I got to see the MOUNTAIN they climb to look for DEER. So we didn't go DEER HUNTING, but just "looked for deer" as we were driving around. That's my kind of DEER HUNTING!
Boston was in heaven up there. He is exactly like his Daddy! He didn't mind the chilly weather and he was as happy as could be up there. He wanted to keep RIDING THE 4 WHEELER and he named it BULLSEYE. Every time they would hit a MUDDY BUMP, Boston would yell, "GO BULLSEYE!" (Bullseye is the horse on Toy Story). Zach helped Chase chop down trees so they could cut wood for his CAMP FIRE. We had a nice time up there and we only stayed a few hours but I was really glad I went, especially so I won't worry as much now when Zach goes up there HUNTING in October because now I know exactly where he is.

Boston loved riding on the 4 wheeler with Daddy. They spotted a few deer.
I love this photo of Boston. He was having so much fun! He is going to be hunter with his Daddy I guarantee it!
He kept laughing so hard so I tried to take a photo of us together while he was laughing.
Boston took over the camera and took a pic of me!
                                                       Lovin' the outdoors like Daddy
I love this pic. He didn't know I was taking photos of him.
                                                     Running through the meadow
Zach's strength came in handy. He would haul out those big trees like they were nothing.
They loaded up Chase's truck with firewood

This is the beautiful mountain they love to hike to find the deer.

Best Friends, or you could say, "Brothers."
Chase mounted a gun rack on his bike handlebars so he could drive up some trails and be prepared! He was pretty camouflaged!
Boston running and leaping into "Uncle Chase's" arms to say goodbye. Boston had so much fun!

MATERNITY SHOTS

September 15, 2013

Ashley wanted to have some MATERNITY PHOTO'S taken of her but before you know, time flew and then she felt she was too big to have the pics turn out cute. I disagreed. I think she is a darling PREGNANT mommy, even though she was due in 2 weeks, and she feels fat and swollen, she still looks BEAUTIFUL! So I drove up to Logan to have dinner with them and we decided to go over to the fairgrounds and take a few shots. She didn't really want to cuz she didn't feel like she looked cute and she just had a t-shirt and levi stretchy pants, but I told her she would regret not having a few photos. So, what was only going to be a few photos, turned into a really fun PHOTO SHOOT and I took over 200 pics! We went over at the wrong time of evening when the sun was coming down and was not real cooperative for a photo shoot, but we still got some really good ones. I wish I had a really nice camera to do stuff like this since I love to take pictures, but I was still happy with the ones my little camera took. I bet you'll agree with me, that Ashley is very BEAUTIFUL, PREGNANT! Lytton was such a great sport and they are so cute together. They are going to make great PARENTS!

Oh yeah, and then I asked Lytton if there were any other pictures or poses he would like me to get of Ashley. He said he would love a pic of her on his old DODGE TRUCK. We thought how could we get her up there. Right then Ash takes off running and jumps on by herself!! Me and Lytt were like, What the??? We were like ASHLEY!! You are going to go into labor right now if you do that kind of stuff! Holy Cow! So, at the end of the MATERNITY pics, there's a few pics of Ashley posing on the DODGE TRUCK!\
I love this photo of her belly. We just wrapped a blue ribbon around her since she is having a BABY BOY!

I love this photo! We had to do a few with the heart sign...another pinterest idea!
This one is one of my favorites, a close up of their hands making a heart...love!

I tied them together with the blue ribbon, cuz afterall they are in this together!
So excited for their BABY BOY!
"That's my baby boy in there! says Lytton"

This is a tender picture. She loves her little guy already!
I really love this one too!
This was not a posed photo. Lytt is always kissing her belly and lovin' on baby already!

Ashley is laughing so hard because she cannot believe she just jumped on this truck! We were shocked!
Here's for you, Lytton! Your beautiful baby mama on your old DODGE truck!

ONLY CHILD EXPIRING APRIL 2014

Sept 2013

Back in July our FAMILY got together to CELEBRATE July birthdays and Mikell had Boston wear a SHIRT she had made. It said: ONLY CHILD EXPIRING APRIL 2014. It took everyone a good half hour before it was pointed out that Zach, Mikell and Boston were trying to ANNOUNCE THEIR GREAT NEWS! I am so HAPPY that I am going to be the PROUD GRANDMA of 3 GRANDCHILDREN this April. I will have Boston, Remington, and who knows if I will have 3 BOYS or if this BUNDLE OF JOY will be the first GIRL! I am so excited! My joy runneth over! She wanted us to wait to tell friends until she had her first DOCTOR'S VISIT and Sept 4th she had that visit and they had an ULTRA SOUND and she is definitely PREGO! I AM SO HAPPY! Did I already say that? :)
Boston's shirt saying: Only Child Expiring April 2014
The family is pretty excited as you can see! Especially Jessica :)
So are the rest of the family!
Is there anything better than getting another grandchild? I doubt it!

BOOK GROUP RETREAT

Sept 6-7, 2013

My BOOK GROUP went to the FARNE'S CABIN near STRAWBERRY RESERVOIR. Actually it's right next to SOLDIER CREEK. Anyway, it was SO NICE! It was totally chill. I needed the RELAXING weekend since I have been gone having TOO MUCH FUN every weekend! We were supposed to read the CLASSIC, GONE WITH THE WIND over the summer. Only 2 ladies did. So we came up here to watch the movie. We started watching it late and couldn't finish it we were so tired. So the next morning we tried watching the rest of it, and didn't quite make it through so we are going to have to finish some night when we get home. The best part of the trip for me was when we sat at the table eating breakfast and talking about some SPIRITUAL stuff. The next thing you know we are all CRYING and it was a real SPIRITUAL BOOST that I had been desperate to feel. I am so glad I went on this RETREAT and especially grateful to spend it with my AWESOME FRIENDS whom I LOVE TONS!
My sweet friend, Shelli Hunger standing in the kitchen. I am totally going to take you on a short tour!
The living room. I love this cabin!
                                                         Looking up to the loft
They have awesome big bathrooms but this one tub was cool I thought!
I prayed there wouldn't be an earthquake because this is where I slept and I didn't want this big beam to fall off and squish my head!
                                                          The view from the loft
Just chillin' with MaryJo, Shelli Hunger, Shelley Smedley and Karen Richardson
Shelley S. and Karen made us a nummy dinner!
This is a funny picture of MaryJo laughing. She is funny! and cute Shelli
Shelli, Barbara Farnes (she owns the cabin) and Shelley
                                                            Me and Mary Jo
This is Soldier Creek right outside the front porch
All of us but Karen (she had to leave early) outside this beautiful cabin. I really want one!
I am thankful for everyone else who has cabins and invite me to visit theirs! I have been to 3 different cabins in 4 weeks and I have loved every single one of them! Covet, covet, covet!

PLAYING AT THE PARK

Sept 1, 2013

After bowling, we went to PONDS PARK to PLAY. The boys played some FOOTBALL while me and the little BOYS played LAWN YAHTZEE. I was so excited to PLAY YAHTZEE with my new blocks I had Tanner's husband, Nate, cut for me. I then painted them and put DOTS on them. It was pretty HOT outside and this GAME soon got old for the little boys! I of course wanted to keep playing so when we got home Mikell and Ash were going to PLAY with me but then there were too many interruptions. I WANT SOMEONE TO PLAY LAWN YAHTZEE WITH ME!!
Boston loves stacking my Yahtzee blocks and then kicking them over.
The big boys playing football...Graham, Bill and Zach
Ashley and Bentley. Ashley is not sharing her water, that's Bentley's very own cup :)
Lytton taking a rest from playing ball. It was so hot today!
Mikell sitting in the shade enjoying watching everyone
                                             Lytton, Ashley and Baby Remington
Zach throwing the football to Zander

Playing Yahtzee. I throw them out of an old laundry basket. This is so much fun!
They boys don't quite get the hang of it just yet.
Then they start fighting over whose turn it is.
Graham is getting so big! Honestly he has grown 5 inches since I last saw him!
Trying to capture a "Wright family photo" but Boston wouldn't smile at the camera!
                                                              Zach and Mikell
I love this pic of Zander lovin' on Bentley and Bentley has his ball in his mouth!
Bella loves Lytton. She can be so sweet at times :)
When we got home Kell tried playing Yahtzee with me but we could only do a few throws.

ANYONE WANNA PLAY?
