MEETING REMINGTON

October 3, 2013

After the funeral we went back up to LOGAN to spend more time with BABY REMINGTON. It was so stinkin' cute to see Boston meet Remington. He was so cute and kept saying, "Hi, Baby Remington. I love you!" And then he would say, "I am Baby Boston!"  So cute! I videotaped his cute little voice talking to Remington. It was precious!
Changing my first poopy pants (more like tar!)as his grandma!
Aunt Mikell was thrilled to hold her newest little nephew!

OUR COWBOY RIDES AWAY

October 3, 2013

Ray passed away on Sept 30, 2013 and his funeral was Oct 3, 2013.  I am so thankful that Ray did not suffer long, but what a shock to learn of his passing. I have felt so much worry and sadness for my Mom. She will miss this COWBOY! He treated my mother so kindly and she will miss his companionship. He was a good HUSBAND to her, and a great FATHER to his children. He was a really GOOD MAN. He had a very strong WORK ETHIC, and he was a man of INTEGRITY. He was an old COWBOY and could be an ornery old goat at times, but that would just make me laugh. He loved POLITICS, THE STOCKMARKET, and the love of his life, besides my mom, was his HORSES! We will miss going to the HORSE RACES and watching his excitement over the RACES, BETTING AND WINNING! We will definitely miss RAY!

I love the embroidery that was stitched on the inside of his casket. The horse races!

The flowers were beautiful! I especially love the ones with his cowboy hat on them.

Ray's horses, hat, belt buckles, trophies, and a fewof his winner circle pictures were displayed.

They played Taps and did a 21 gun salute since he was a veteran. That is always so cool to hear!

Handing the flag to my mom.

Cute little Rylee was so good during the funeral. She was a ray of sunshine on this bleak afternoon!

Paul and Andy help walk Grandma back to the car.
