The Happiest Place on Earth...Disneyland!!

We got Steven a trip to Disneyland for Christmas. He has been SO excited for this trip. We all had a wonderful time. He was so funny...he had to stop and take pics of absolutely EVERYTHING, and he takes about 10 min. per pic! He also forgot his Flow-Max (prostate medicine) so believe me, I am NOT exaggerating...He had to find a restroom before EVERY ride, and after EVERY ride, and in BETWEEN! He had to keep getting out of line because he had to go to the bathroom.  That is one trip I will never forget! Steve used to LOVE all rides, we had to beg him to go on most of these. His favorite rides were: Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Carribbean, the Water Rapids, and Soaring over California.

The other funny thing was my mom! She didn't know what she was getting into when climbed in the car on Space Mountain. She screamed the whole entire ride! I was sitting behind her laughing so hard I could hardly breathe! Then she went on Tower of Terror, having no idea what that ride did. She hung on to me for dear life and screamed the whole time! Next she went on Screamin' and again she was "screamin'" the whole ride. All of the pics taken at the end of the ride were hilarious because her mouth was wide open screaming!

We loved going with Joyce and Jenny. They knew every in and out of Disneyland. They were wonderful tour guides. We got the most out of our Disneyland experience because we were with the EXPERTS!!

What a bunch of Characters:

Lunch at the Blue Bayou...The Famous Monte Cristo Sandwich

We ordered the Monte Cristo...it was good but we should have split them. We couldn't even eat half!

Steven's Disneyland Trip

Steven's favorite ride...you guessed it! The Haunted Mansion!

Mom on Screamin' Trust me she did plenty of that!
I got drenched on It's a Small World. Weird!
Sportin' some sweet 3-D glasses for Toy Story
We loved the Toy Story ride!
Everyone got soaked except for me and Ash
                                                                           Joyce got it good!
Diane got the worst of the rapids!
Steve couldn't stop laughing! It was so funny.
                                                                     Drenched!

                                                         Ashley's feelin' a little "buggy"

IT'S A BOY!!

Zach took Mikell to get an ULTRASOUND on Tuesday and we weren't really sure they would be able to tell the sex of the BABY yet because she is only 12 weeks along. But the pictures they were able to take were AMAZING!  Zach and Mikell sent them to me over my cell phone and I was surprised at the clarity and DETAIL! I will learn how to download them so I can show you all. Anyway...the doctor and ultrasound tech said that IT was a BIG BABY!!  The HEAD  was BIG, the HANDS were BIG, the FEET were BIG, AND it had the BIGGEST PENIS they have seen on a BABY!! It was definitely A BOY!!  The pics show it too! There is no denying its A BOY!! I am SO EXCITED!! I just knew it was A BOY from day one! So they have narrowed the names down to 1. BOSTON 2. PORTER 3. PRESTON.  What NAME do you like the BEST?  Oh yeah... they changed the due date from Aug 7th to Aug. 4th. They said that the BABY is so BIG and that is why she is SHOWING so EARLY and why she has been so SICK! But hopefully now that she is entering her 2nd TRIMESTER she'll stop being so sick!  I cannot wait to be a GRANDMA!!

Pinewood Derby

Graham brought his derby car to Vegas so Bill could paint it for him using real car paint. He wanted orange  wheels on it too! So Billy painted his car METALLIC RED and then the following week Bill and Thera spent the weekend at my house, so we were all able to go to Graham's PINEWOOD DERBY!! Graham took 2nd place but took 1st place in "COOLEST DESIGN AND DETAIL".  He was so PROUD of himself! We were happy to have been able to SUPPORT and CHEER Graham on! GOOD JOB GRAHAM!

Book Club

I love my book group! I have been a member for a little over a year (they have been together and have not missed a month since 2001)and I have read some really good books and have had such a great time getting to meet new friends and closer to some older friends as well. Well, this month it was my time to choose a book and host the party at my house. I picked a book that was so cute! It was made me literally LAUGH OUT LOUD and it made me CRY, and it was a little SCARY. It was set in the 1870's so when I made treats to serve I decided to serve them in a bandana (it totally had to do with the book), a tall bottle of rootbeer old fashioned oatmeal cookes, hard stick candies, and old fashioned caramel. I tied them all together with twine. Because of a name that a little girl calls her polygamist 2nd mom, I made pumpkin cookies to go with it. Really they were called "Pumpkin Ass Cookies" :)  You ALL have to read this book and let me know what you think. It's called DARK ANGEL by ROBERT KIRBY. HILARIOUS!! Here is a look at some of my treats. Don't be offended by my PUMPKIN ASS COOKIES!!

Making Crazy Monster Cupcakes

Just for fun and to pass the time, I made cupcakes for the little kids to decorate. They had SO much fun decorating the cupcakes. I tried to find blue jimmies (sprinkles) but all I could find were multi-colored ones. I was hoping to find the solid blue ones so they could be COOKIE MONSTER COOKIES! Wouldn't they be SO cute??  Well our lil' monsters turned out cute and they tasted pretty NUMMY too! Next time I go to Bake and Carry you can bet I will be buying the blue jimmies!

Hoover Dam

So I've been to Vegas two weeks in a row! I brought Mason and Graham down to see Bill. While we were there we went to see Hoover Dam. Wow! Totally Amazing! Ash and I missed our first damn, I mean dam tour so we were going straight to Arizona. When Bill told me to turn around to come back to the damn, I mean dam exit, it wasn't tell I had parked that I realized I had driven over that HUGE, SUPER DUPER TALL bridge! I hadn't even realized it cuz you can't see over the edge. Probably was a good thing too!

Ashley Moves to Vegas

Ashley moved to Vegas to be Bill and Thera's nanny for a little while. So I drove down with her and then flew home. We had a nice visit with Zach, Mikell, Bill, the kids and Thera. We just pretty much kicked it all weekend. We went to see Bill's horses and got to feed them carrots, and it was so much fun to see Zander with Zach. That little guy is such a cutie and he ADORES Zach! He is always with Zach, playing with his hats, and just wanting to be held by Zach the whole time. It really is ADORABLE!
I am going to miss my KIDS SOOO MUCH! But it will be a nice change for Ash and Bill really needs her help right now. So I guess that means alot more visits to Vegas for me! Zach and Mikell are doing great down there and it will be nice for Mikell to have Ashley there!
