THRILLER AND RUTH'S DINER

Jessica and Debbie invited us girls to go to THRILLER at Kingsbury Hall. It was nothing like I had expected! I enjoyed the dancing a lot but some parts were just way too long and a little weird. Glad I went but wouldn't see this every year as a tradition. It was so much fun just being with all the girls.

Afterwards, those who could, drove up IMMIGRATION CANYON to eat at RUTH'S DINER. I have always loved eating here when I was dating back in the 1980's and haven't been back for 30 years and I still loved it! The food was great. and there's always something fun about eating outside in the mountains and with the FALL LEAVES in bloom, it did not disappoint! Thanks for the fun day girls!

Most of us ordered the Meatloaf, Potatoes and Veggies. They did not disappoint! This fed me for 3 meals. Not kiddin'! We also ordered an appetizer, my favorite! Fried Okra and Pickles...delish!

PUMPKIN CARVING PARTY

We all met at Dad's and had a PUMPKIN CARVING PARTY! We had a POTATO BAR (thanks to the Bastian's for the Idaho spuds!), with chili and cheese over Frito's etc...and Mikell brought her delicious CARAMEL POPCORN!

Ashley and Lytton also brought all their leftover PUMPKINS from their PATCH. We had gone up a few weeks ago and got our PUMPKINS and she let the Young Women in her Ward and another family to come get some PUMPKINS so these were the leftovers. They were on the small side but they still worked great!

We CARVED and CHATTED and had a great time! I usually don't CARVE, I just take pics so I decided this year I would CARVE me a PUMPKIN. I wanted it to be SPIDERMAN but I didn't have the right tool to lightly shave the web so I messed it up. Instead mine was a mean SCARFACE! Once we lit it up it looked mean and I liked it!

I died laughing when I saw Mom dressed like this! She is so wacky when it comes to the holidays. She thought she was so funny and I just hoped she wouldn't get in a wreck on the way home. How embarrassing!
