While we were all together for Lytton's Graduation Dinner, we decided it would be fun to do a GENDER REVEAL PARTY for Lytton and Ashley's 3rd CHILD! They went to the doctor early in the afternoon and told the doctor not to tell them the GENDER OF THE BABY. I had called Bowman's earlier and asked if they would frost the inside of a cake either PINK or BLUE depending what the doctor wrote in the envelope. Then, when we CUT THE CAKE we would know if it was a GIRL OR BOY! Well, the doctor didn't want them to be tempted (especially Lytton cuz he wanted to know right then!) she called Bowman's Bakery herself and told them the GENDER OF THE BABY!
This was so much fun to find out when Ashley and Lytton did and to see the SURPRISE on their faces!
Everyone including Ashley felt it was a BOY the whole time (except right when she told me, I thought she was having a GIRL) but then I too felt it was a BOY. Lytton wants a BOY so he can name him MACK, (After the truck!). Mikell thought it was a GIRL and I think my Dad may have thought it could be a GIRL.
Well the time came and they CUT THE CAKE and Lo and behold if it wasn't PINK FROSTING!
They're having a GIRL! We were all so EXCITED and so SHOCKED! Especially Ashley and Lytton! Lytton could hide his disappointment. He just didn't say much. I mean he is excited to have this BABY of course, and will love this little GIRL just as much as he loves his precious Paisley, but he really wanted it to be a BOY!
