(This one is out of order but I wanted to include it for my records.)
This year for our SIBLING CHRISTMAS DINNER we decided to do a SUB FOR SANTA instead of exchanging GIFTS with each other. My boss had a family in his ward that was in need of Christmas this year for their two little boys. We had a blast buying toys and clothes for them and clothes and food and some nice things for the parents too. We all felt so good about doing this that I think we will do it every year! It feels so good to GIVE when we are so BLESSED with so much!
It really put me in the CHRISTMAS SPIRIT.
We always start our Sibling Dinner with a toast. Mom always does the drink and she puts a sugary jello flavoring around the rim of the glasses that we all love to nibble off
Mona and Diane
Mom always decorates the tables with a new color scheme each year
Me, Debbie, Scott and Diane. Steve dressed up like Easter Santa this year. He is pictured below.
Never a dull moment with Steven and his costumes!
Dad and Scott
We didn't exchange gifts this year but Steve didn't care. He always gives Scott a duck for Christmas and has for years and years. This year was no exception. He got a wooden duck this year.
He gave Mom a BYU plate among other collectibles from the D.I.
Steven also got Scott a pic of a Retriever with a duck in its mouth
Since Debbie's birthday is on Halloween he bought her this pumpkin!
Then we got busy wrapping all of the gifts for our Sub for Santa. Everyone chipped in and we got it done quickly.
Grandma looked on and she is so sweet. She always says how much she loves our family and is so happy none of us are in jail.
