YOU SON-OF-A-BITCH!

OK, so I apologize if this post offends you but I thought this was HILARIOUS!

So my sweet little Sadie Bug who is 3 years old, is a lover of CHICKENS (any animal if you want to keep it real). So because she loves her CHICKENS so much, she was absolutely devastated when one of the CHICKENS was being PECKED TO DEATH by the other CHICKENS. It got its butt stuck through the fence trying to get away from the mean CHICKENS. Well, it got PECKED over and over and Sadie couldn't get in the CHICKEN COOP with them (she doesn't know how to open the latch)and was trying to shoo the bad chickens away from the poor stuck little chicken. She was so upset and she was crying because it was bad you guys. There was BLOOD and it was devastating to her!

Ashley went outside to see what was going on and she felt so bad for that bleeding CHICKEN. She quickly got it and cleaned it up the best she could. 

Then she heard Sadie scream at the mean CHICKEN...You hurt my CHILD...You made him BLEED...YOU SON OF A BITCH!

What??? Ashley couldn't believe her ears! Sadie, We don't talk like that! Then she asked Lytton where she would hear anyone talk like that.  Lytton said, well, she's been spending time on the farm with the cows and Grandpa Bastian! Apparently Grandpa Bastian calls those stubborn cows  SON OF A BITCHES!

To make it even funnier, Grandpa Bastian was a BISHOP, and is now in the BISHOPRIC of the Single Adult Ward!

I hope this didn't offend anyone, but I thought it was hilarious!

FUNNY FACES DURING ZOOM TRAINING

We had to do an ELECTION TRAINING ZOOM STYLE at work. To make it a little bit FUN, Dawna made us some funny MASKS that we put on and when they turned it on Lori and Julie cracked up! It was so funny! Thanks Dawna!!

Dawna then put on her glasses! We died laughing because she said now she can sleep through the training and noone would know! LOL!

COVID-19 DINNER #2 WITH MY BESTIES

I was so looking forward to being with my FRIENDS for our monthly get together DINNER. We had so much fun eating together in the church parking lot that we decided to do it again, and it was just as much fun the second time!  

Janice picked up all of our orders from ZUPAS and we talked, and talked and talked. Oh, I just love being with them and learning cool things from them. They are truly the BEST!

EATING ICE CREAM IN A COVERED WAGON

We hated to say goodbye to BEAR LAKE. It was such a fun filled weekend! We thought we'd depart after we got one more RASPBERRY SHAKE and ICE CREAM and this time, instead of eating out of a BOAT, we went across the street and ate it in a COVERED WAGON!

BEAR LAKE-IDEAL BEACH DAY 3

June 2020

This was the last day at BEAR LAKE for Zach's family and Lytton. Ashley and her kids, me and my mom will spend one more night here.

We had a great breakfast, Mikell makes the best homemade Biscuits and Gravy and after BREAKFAST we played more GAMES, and Ashley pulled out all the TATTOOS and got the kids tatted up and she had some HAIR COLOR CHALKD and the kids colored their hair. They loved this! Then we spent time in the 2nd POOL that they have at IDEAL BEACH. This pool's water was a lot warmer than yesterday's pool, plus, they had a nice HOT TUB.

Before half of them left, I needed to get one FAMILY PIC!

Gee, I tried to get everyone of us in a pic...this time Kenzie was sleeping. It's almost impossible. I think next time we are going to get a family before the activities begin and one when we are leaving. I love my people!

We had a blast swimming today!

These two! Oh my goodness! Well, Ashley started it and Zach took it for awhile before he got back at her. They wrestled and dunked and it was like we were back in Jr High all over again! This time it was hilarious and there were no tears except from Kenzie who was very upset at them play fighting!

After everyone left we took Ashley'd kiddo's to play at the PLAYGROUND and then played outside and we one thing I forgot to mention was that there was tons of COTTON being blown all over the place and when I went outside to talk to Ashley her hair was covered in it! I said, "Ashley, I have one question for you...Do you wanna build a snowman?" And I laughed so hard! Her hair looked like snow and that was so funny!

Then we took the kids just to play in the SAND at the BEACH. It was such a nice and relaxing evening. When we went back to the condo there was a family nearby with older kids and their parents playing kick ball and I wanted to play so bad! I can't wait til my kiddo's get bigger so we can play that here! So much fun!  Then one of their teenaged girls pulled out her guitar and sang some songs. She had a beautiful voice and it was just a very calm and happy evening!

What a super fun weekend! This was the best time! Everyone wants to make this a new yearly TRADITION for our FAMILY.  I couldn't be HAPPIER!

BEAR LAKE-IDEAL BEACH DAY 2

June 2020

Well, today was slightly a bummer because of the weather. It was cool, very overcast and the water was freezing. So we went to the BEACH for a short time is all.  

Because of Covid, they were only allowing a few people in the pools at a time so you had to stand in line early in the morning to get wrist bands for your family for certain time slots and you only got 1 1/2 hours in the pool. So Mikell and I stood in line and we got a pool time reserved. That ended up being such a fun time for the kiddo's (and Zach! Geesh he was so funny and entertaining on this trip!)

So we played games in the condo with the kids like HEADBANDZ and TWISTER and CHARADES and the kids had a blast. Plus I bought them each a book of the paint with water that they enjoyed playing with.  I had forgotten that they do free crafts for the kids every day from 9;30-4:30 or we would have done that too. They also went scootering around and it ended up being a great day! We just didn't get much BEACH time in as we had hoped.

Oh man! I could hardly bend over and then I would put my head beneath my legs and look at the boys behind me and they would die laughing! This was so much fun but I think I pulled a muscle or two? LOL!

We were playing HEADBANDZ when Ashley used her new watermelon cutter to cut these big pieces of watermelon that the kids devoured.

Swimming was so much fun to watch...I took pics and videos and didn't really get in but for a few minutes because they just filled up this pool 2 days ago and I thought it was freezing! 

I promised Zach I wouldn't put pics or video of him but can I tell you, he had us laughing so hard watching him do flips and all sorts of tricks off the diving board. This was my favorite part of the day. I was just so happy watching my family having a blast with each other. These are cherished moments for me for sure!

After we swam, we ate dinner and then had the BEST time outside playing CORN HOLE and the grassy area there is huge and it was so much fun playing lawn games! The kids and the adults had a blast!

This night was so pleasant and we all had fun playing games. I have to tell just one little story. So Grandma Shirley was playing with the little kids showing them how to play a ring toss game. She put a pool noodle down for them to stand behind. Well she forgot about it and tripped over it. I was playing a game and just happened to look back and there she was on the ground! I was like oh my gosh! What are you doing on the ground? Did you fall again? She started laughing so hard (Thank Goodness!) Her laugh is so funny and then I started laughing and we we stood their hugging each other laughing so hard. Mikell kept asking are they crying? or laughing? We were laughing! Dang! She could have broke a hip! But thank goodness she slowly and softly fell to the ground!

We all went to bed exhausted and happy!
