COVE FORT is on our way to St. George so we decided to stop there since Joyce had never seen it. It was built by President Hinckley's Grandfather. It really is amazing! Those pioneers were pretty innovative. We took the tour and learned a lot. It was really interesting. I'm glad we stopped there.
This is an example of their little peep holes that they might have had to use to stick their guns out of to shoot Indians back in the day. Fortunately, they never had to!
They grew their own food and this is what part of the vegetable garden looks like today. It looks so perfect!
Mom and Joyce playing with the kids' toys!
A really windy day but we had to get some selfies anyway! Here we are on top of the deck!
