We woke up on EASTER SUNDAY and we made RESURRECTION ROLLS. Boston loves when we do this. We talk about each ingredient and how it relates to CHRISTS DEATH:
The crescent roll dough was the linen that wrapped his body
The melted butter with cinnamon sugar was the herbs that were put on his body
The large marshmallow that we put in the middle was his body (we cover that in the cinnamon sugar/butter)
Then we wrap the crescent roll dough (linen) over the body (marshmallow)
We baked it and when we opened up the crescent roll (linen) there was no body!
We had a good talk about the events that took place that day. That JESUS WAS RESURRECTED!
This is such a great teaching moment!
