PUZZLE OBSESSION

February 2020

Thank you very much Jessica Robinson! I won a game on New Years Eve and Jessica gave me a PUZZLE for my prize. Well, me, Boston and Waylon are now PUZZLE FIENDS! We are working on our 4th 1,000 piece PUZZLE today.

I absolutely LOVE putting these PUZZLES together with these boys. I love spending that time with them and they love it too!  I come home from work and it really helps me to unwind.

Take a look at what we have done. They are harder than they look and they are 1,000 pieces so that's a lot. But I love it!!

 We finished and we did a lot of celebrating with hoots and hollers over it when we put the last piece in it!

This is our 2nd one and it brings back memories of Cereal Boxes when I was young!

We are working on our 3rd one right here.

Ta Da! We finished our 3rd one! One day I came home with all of these fun snacks that are in this puzzle and the boys got the biggest kick out of it. They had never tasted Zingers, Hostess Cupcake or Snowballs and Zebra's. They loved them!

 It's a craze over here! Even Briggs and Waylon are pulling out all of their PUZZLES!

We finished it and now we are starting our new one!

Here's our 3 puzzles we have done in one month! The third one was only 500 pieces but it was hard!

CHEER CAMP

Ashley signed Paisley and Sadie up for CHEER CAMP kind of like what they do down here with the High Schools for one night. They loved it and it was fun to see Sadie participate for the first time. She loved every second of it.

 I can't tell you how much I love this!

VALENTINE'S DAY 2020

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! Before work I ran downstairs to give my LOVE BUGS their VALENTINE'S gifts. You know, I LOVE BOOKS and for every holiday I give my Grandkids BOOKS because I want them to LOVE BOOKS too. I got them candy too and they were so happy with their NEW BOOKS!

 Their Mom gave them these cute snuggle animals that they love sleeping with!

Boston's Valentine Box...a football one again, of course!

I gave Ashley her kids' bags last night. She sent me Marco Polo's of her being the Room Mother in Remington's class. I am so happy she gets to spend that time with him at school. They had a super fun party!

When I got home from work I was so surprised to see that they HEART ATTACKED my bedroom door! I loved reading the sweet things they love to do with me and they left me a GIFT CARD to MAVERIK. Aww...they know me and they love me!  I'm so happy they are my VALENTINE'S!

  I love these hearts! Boston, I LOVE doing puzzles with you. We have had so much fun doing them together!

 Oh my Briggy! We need to go get an Ice Cream Sundae. I can't wait for our special date!

 I can't count how many times I've played Candy Land with these kiddo's but it is hilarious to play it with Briggs. He always tells me he is going to kick my butt! And he does! Then he stands up puts an "L" on his forehead with his fingers and does the Fortnite Dance. I need to teach him how to be a graceful winner! Ha! Ha! He loves it when I get the Peanut and he gets Ice Cream...No fair!

 We have seen so many movies together and I love going to the movies with Boston!

 I love taking Waylon to the movies. We love our Special Dates!

SARAH MCLACHLAN CONCERT

February 13, 2020

Ashley invited me to go with her, Tanner and Anna and their mothers to see the SARAH MCLACHLAN CONCERT and I thought it would be so much fun for all of us to go together. Tanner drove all the way down from Colorado to take her Mom to this CONCERT. Brooke has always loved Sarah Mclachlan. Well, unfortunately, Tanner's baby got sick with a high fever so she couldn't come. We were so sad! We missed her so much.

Ashley picked us all up and drove us to SLC. We met Anna there and ate at City Creek's food court before walking to the ECCLES THEATER for the CONCERT.

We all enjoyed the CONCERT. Her MUSIC is pretty mellow but man her voice is amazing and she has a very fun sense of humor. It was a great night out and I was so happy to spend this time with Ashley.

 We all got food from different restaurants. Joan and Brooke got Indian food, Anna got this crazy BLT with Egg that she says is amazing and Ashley and I got Chinese food.

 Sorry so blurry. For some reason when I was recording and taking pics at the same time, they didn't turn out! We had great seats though!

What a wonderful evening shared with great friends and a lovely daughter!

HEART ATTACKING THE GRANDPARENTS

I love taking the boys to HEART ATTACK their other GRANDPARENTS. They get the biggest kick out of doing this. This year we got to take Briggs with us for the first time and he loved it! He thought it was so funny to ring the doorbell and run and hide and wait for them to answer the door. He would bounce up and down and he'd shout, "I'M HAPPY! I'M HAVING FUN!"  It was SO cute!

We got cream filled CONVERSATION HEART DONUTS from Krispy Kreme for their TREAT this year and just used red and white doilies to put on their doors.

It's too bad we have to do them so late at night because then I don't get good pics but I will never forget the FUN we had together this year.
