BROOKS' BLESSING DAY!

The newest member of our FAMILY is my niece, Jessica, and her husband, Brody's little guy named BROOKS ROBINSON. He was born February 26, 2018. Unfortunately I've only seen him one other time and that was at Easter. Today was his BLESSING DAY and it was such a wonderful day! His Daddy, Brody, gave him a beautiful BLESSING and then bore his TESTIMONY which was very touching and gave tribute also to his sweet wife, Jessica. They are such a cute FAMILY and I love them so much!

Afterwards we went to their HOME and had a BRUNCH. It was nummy! It was nice visiting with each other and I truly enjoyed this day so much.

Little BROOKS slept the entire time so I have yet to hold this SWEETIE. I look forward to that day! They say he is an easy, HAPPY BABY BOY! Welcome to our FAMILY BABY BROOKS!

VEGAS TRIP: MOVING, SWIMMING, AND SHARK REEF

June 1-2, 2018

Zach wanted to drive to VEGAS for a quick trip to help his Dad move. He worked hard helping him, and the kids had a blast SWIMMING in Papa Billy's new POOL.  They loved SWIMMING at NIGHT too!

One night they went to MANDALAY BAY to see the SHARK REEF AQUARIUM. Waylon was SO EXCITED! He loves SHARKS! It's a pretty cool exhibit they have there and they have one whole tank full of BIG SHARKS! Waylon wants me to take him to Hawaii when he's 12 to get in a CAGE and SWIM with the SHARKS. I have 9 years to get over my FEAR! He had to MARCO POLO me and show me the SHARKS and he was pretty dang excited!!

 Briggs LOVED SPLASHING his legs in the water. One thing I love about Bill's pool is that it has this large area that's very shallow as you can see that's perfect for little ones!

HOGLE ZOO

Mikell and her parents took the boys to the HOGLE ZOO before their trip to Vegas on Thursday before the schools got out. (Boston's school got out on Wed, almost a whole week before the rest of the District).  It wasn't crowded and they had a great time! Briggs loved seeing all of the ANIMALS!

ZACH & KELL'S BEAR WORLD, SAND DUNES AND KELLY CANYON

May 24-26, 2018

While I was at Disneyland, Zach, Mikell and the boys drove to IDAHO to see their land, spend the day at BEAR WORLD, the SAND DUNES and KELLY CANYON. The best part was that they made it a big surprise for the boys. They had no idea they were going anywhere. After Waylon's soccer game on Thursday night they just kept driving and the boys were like where are we going? We want to go home! That's when they sprung it on them...we are going to stay in a hotel in Idaho! They boys were ecstatic because they LOVE staying in HOTELS and because they love going to see their property and run and play in the field.

Of course the first thing they did when they got to the HOTEL was SWIM! The next few days they visited the other places on their list. When they got to their property they were able to meet a lot of their neighbors and they got pretty excited to find out that including their 4 kids, there will be 18 kids in that little neighborhood of theirs and there are still lots for other families to build on. Hopefully they will have kids their kids' age too!

This was a fun extended weekend trip for them and the boys had a ball!

CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE DAY 3

We were pooped when we woke up on Day 3. We were slower getting going and we went out to breakfast first. But I was shocked how few people there were in CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE this morning. Of course by about 1:00 it got packed! We got to go on all of our favorite rides especially RADIATOR SPRINGS...by far my favorite ride in Disneyland and California Adventure combined. I wish I could ride it over and over! I LOVED SOARING OVER THE WORLD...Wow! Makes me want to travel to all of those awesome places. It got a little warm when the sun came out and the overcast skies disappeared but only for a few hours. The worst was when Remi and I went and stood in a line FOREVER for SPLASH MOUNTAIN. All the adults around us were complaining but Remi didn't complain one time! He is a good boy!

 At breakfast a guy was selling these balloons and the kids wanted one so Sadie got a Minnie Mouse

 Paisley got an Elsa...oh my she loves Elsa!

 And Remi got Buzz LightYear!

My favorite memory of this day though was when Paisley had the SPLASH PAD all to herself! She had a blast! Sadie was asleep and everyone was riding rides. Eventually some people others joined her and then Remi got drenched too. But they dried out really quick.

After riding all the rides, and eating TURKEY LEGS, we watched the PARADE and it was magnificent! Then we walked back to the hotel for the last time...my feet are grateful for that!

This trip has been a MAGICAL one and I loved every bit of it! Thank you BASTIAN FAMILY for bringing me. I loved making these awesome MEMORIES with you! It means the world to me!
