STAYCATION AT THANKSGIVING POINT

January 18-20, 2020

OK, so everyone knows I love TRADITIONS. Well, this is turning into a TRADITION that I love! So last year during the PLAYOFF GAMES we (Me, Mom, Joyce and Jenny) drove to Vegas and we had the best time staying in a suite and watching both PLAYOFF GAMES that went into overtime. We had a blast!

Well, this year Jenny can't drive far so we decided to just stay close to home and we went to THANKSGIVING POINT and stayed in a hotel for the long weekend. We will be watching the PLAYOFF GAMES in our hotel. My 2 favorite TEAMS were playing. The first game was between the CHIEFS and the TITANS. And the 2nd game was between the 49ERS and the PACKERS.
We couldn't wait to watch both of those games!!

But on the FIRST DAY we stopped in Riverton to eat at a really good Mexican Restaurant called SALSA LEEDO'S. We loved it. Then we went SHOPPING at TRAVERSE MOUNTAIN at the OUTLET STORES and then we went to see a really good MOVIE...FORD VS FERRARI. You have to see it, it's really good! And it's a true story.

Joyce and Jenny got these Fajitas with steak and chicken and veggies smothered in this nummy cheese sauce.

  Can you believe how much we brought for a weekend stay? LOL! But that includes food for Sunday! And treats for the games.

 Mom took a selfie of us at the Movie. Oh, I loved that movie!

We had to share Full Size beds so we were cozy! Joyce ended up sleeping on the sofa bed so Jenny could have her own bed.

The SECOND DAY:  We watched the PLAYOFF GAMES:

Oh my goodness! How lucky am I to have my 2 favorite teams going to the SUPERBOWL??? I can't believe it! What are the chances?
We loved watching both playoff games in the hotel. The CHIEFS won the Titans and the 49ERS won the Packers! Woot! Woot!

I can't wait for the SUPERBOWL!

The Third Day:
We woke up, ate breakfast and went back to the OUTLET STORES and I bought my new Vera Bradley LUGGAGE for my upcoming Italy trip. I am so excited! Afterwards, we went to another MOVIE. We saw LITTLE WOMEN and we loved it!!  Then we went to lunch at the restaurant at Thanksgiving Point called THE HARVEST. It was really good. Then we headed home. It was a fun little weekend STAYCATION!

PAISLEY'S CHEER PERFORMANCE IN IDAHO

After work me and my Mom drove to Idaho to watch PAISLEY'S CHEER PERFORMANCE during a halftime at the Girls Basketball Game at Marsh Valley High School. She looked adorable and it was so fun to watch her. The kids were so excited to see me and Grandma and I was smothered in love which I enjoyed every minute of.

SPECIAL DATE WITH WAYLON

Waylon told Mikell that he really wanted to go on a SPECIAL DATE with me and go see the movie JUMANJI 2.  So she gave me a heads up on it, and that Waylon was going to come ask me.  So sure enough he came up in his cute little voice and asked if we could go on a SPECIAL DATE, just me and him and go see the movie JUMANJI 2.  I was SO EXCITED that he would want to go on a DATE just me and him. I immediately said YES, of course!

So we went to see JUMANJI 2 which was good but man, it swore a lot! :(  But me and WAYLON had SO MUCH FUN TOGETHER!  We got our POPCORN, and snuck in CANDY and DRINKS and we had the BEST TIME! One of the guys that worked there said, "Man, what a lucky little dude. He will treasure these memories going to the movies with his Grandma! I bet he will never forget it."  Well, that is my hope. I know I won't ever forget it. I love spending ONE ON ONE time with my Grandkids.

It was freezing cold when we got out of the movie so after looking at the "colored water" we found an outside fireplace to get warm. What a super fun time with a super fun kid!
