THE INDY 500

Joyce and Jenny love the INDIANAPOLIS 500! Every year they watch it and so on Memorial Weekend that is what you'll find them doing.  This year me and my Mom asked them if we could watch it with them and they said yes!

Well, you can't CRASH a party without bringing some themed snacks!!  I loved making these. Of course Joyce made some delicious French Dip sandwiches and Pasta Salad but we provided the snacks.

 Diet Mtn. Dew and Diet Coke gave us the FUEL we needed to get through this intense RACE!

Then we watched the RACE and OH. MY. GOSH! It was so exciting! We were freaking out and screaming and really getting into it until the last second. It was a little stressful and they said that this one was one of the most exciting RACES they have seen. We might just have to CRASH their INDY 500 every year! It was so much fun!!

In The INDY 500 they have to go around the LAP 200 times and they go 500 MILES. I learned that today!

 Simon Pagenaud won the Indy 500 this year. It was the first for him.

 This is a funny picture but this is him pouring MILK all over himself. It is tradition in the INDY 500 to DRINK MILK instead of champagne or something I hate milk so all of the pics showing milk all over him made me sick. Ugh! But this one is funny to me!

WORK GIRLS DINNER

I loved spending the evening with my WORK FRIENDS and some of the ones we used to work with. There were many that couldn't meet up with us tonight so there was just a small group. It was so nice! Everyone laughed a lot and we could hear each one speak since the group was small. I just love these ladies. We have gone through a lot together and I am so blessed to be able to work with them. They make work bearable when work isn't.

We met up at GRANNY ANNIE'S and we laughed so hard. Darla just keeps cracking us up. She is hysterical! I love that lady!!

WAYLON'S PRESCHOOL GRADUATION

Waylon GRADUATED from PRESCHOOL and I got to watch his PROGRAM.  He was so funny because he was so serious in his program but he knew all the words and actions and it was great!

All of my Grandkids are growing up so fast! But I love being able to see them all have their special day!

Waylon is lucky because he got to be in Preschool with 2 of his cousins, and his teacher is his Grandma Melanie! She is fantastic!

 Waylon was so excited to get his little treat! It was Swedish Fish and I made the little tag that said "Congratulations! You are "O-fish-ally" a Kindergartner!"  I can't believe he will be in Kindergarten next year!!

GREASE...THE PLAY

This sweet lady at work has season tickets at PIONEER PLAYHOUSE. She couldn't go to the play GREASE and so she asked me if I'd like to use her two tickets. I called Mom and we had the best time. We went to dinner at Chubby's Mexican Restaurant and then to the play. It was a really fun play and I just loved spending the evening with my Mom!

AUNT JOYCE DUGGAR'S 90TH B-DAY

My AUNT JOYCE turned 90 years old! She is the Aunt Joyce on my Dad's side of the family
She is the sweetest lady and she raised the best kids. I don't see her often but when I do she always comes up to me first and has the sweetest smile and a hug for me.   My Mom and I went to CELEBRATE her birthday and it was so great seeing my cousins that I don't get to see very often. We had a great time visiting with all of them and my mom was so happy she was able to go there and visit with Joyce and her family.

 My Mom and her Sister-in-Law, Joyce Duggar. They were great friends as they were raising kids. They lived in Florida at the same time and my mom said when they moved back she used to go visit Aunt Joyce quite often. She lived in Bountiful and I remember I used to love when we would go play at her house. She is always just so sweet!

REMINGTON AND PAISLEY'S PRESCHOOL GRADUATION

After work I drove to Downey, Idaho to see Remington and Paisley's PRESCHOOL GRADUATION. They did an amazing job performing for us. The Preschool Program was so different than any I have ever seen. It's just so different seeing programs from different areas. This little program was definitely entertaining. I just love seeing my GRANDKIDS shine!

Remington will be going to KINDERGARTEN next year, and Paisley has one more year of PRESCHOOL. They are growing so fast!!

When we first got there a little girl ran up and grabbed Remington's hand and led him into the school.

I made a little  treat for them to let them know how PROUD I am of them for doing so well in PRESCHOOL this year! I love these kiddo's so much and I love that they got to spend a year in PRESCHOOL together!!

BOSTON'S 1ST GRADE PROGRAM

I love watching the kids in all of their activities and I get so excited when I'm invited to see them perform at their SCHOOL. I love seeing how they interact with the other kids and to meet their friends.

Boston is finishing up his FIRST GRADE this year and I loved watching his PROGRAM. He learned lots of fun songs and he did a fabulous job! Way to go Boston!
