What a VERY SAD day! Our beloved BENTLEY got hit by a car and died. Lytton was all ready to go to work early in the morning and he usually takes BENTLEY with him to run on the farm. He couldn't find him anywhere so he left for work and when he pulled out on Highway 89 in front of their house, he saw that BENTLEY had been hit by a few cars. He had the hard chore of picking him up and telling Ashley. We all cried over BENTLEY. When I got home from work we had a FUNERAL for him. Lytton made a wood box to lay him in and we all wrote something on the box and then we each put a stick in there because this dog was OBSESSED WITH FETCH! Ashley put some of his favorite toys in it as well. Lytton said a prayer and we cried as he and Zach lowered him into the ground. BENTLEY will surely be missed. He had become Boston's BEST FRIEND. They entertained each other every day. He had lived at my house for about a year and a half. Ashley was so excited to finally have BENTLEY with her at her new house in Wellsville. She enjoyed sitting on their big porch with him and cuddling with him in the mornings. I can honestly say he was the BEST DOG EVER. He minded so well and he was just a great dog and always a comfort to Ashley. We will miss you BENTLEY and will forever remain in our hearts.
