SUPERBOWL 50!

February 2016

We celebrated the SUPER BOWL at my Dad's this year. I made Sloppy Joe's and everyone else brought nummy sides and snacks. There was lots of FOOD and FUN for the BIG GAME.  I made a FIELD GOAL out of painter's tape for this littles to play PIN THE FOOTBALL ON THE FIELD GOAL.  I also brought Blue and Orange Froot Loops and yarn for them to make BRONCO'S necklaces. And...I made FOOTBALL TOSS for them to throw footballs through it. It was a good game and we were happy that the BRONCO'S won it! We all love Peyton Manning and think this probably will be his last game.

My favorite part of this Super Bowl Party was playing a game called LUCKY CUP! We each brought a roll of quarters and put a quarter in the cup and passed it around. You could only hold the cup for up to 3 seconds. At the beginning of each round you got to say when the LUCKY CUP stops. For instance, the next yellow flag. So the cup goes around and the person holding it when the yellow flag is thrown, gets all the money out of the cup. Sometimes we'd call 4th down, oh yeah, and if an interception or field goal or touchdown happens that calls for the stop on the Lucky Cup. We all had fun playing that game!

Me and Lytton will always wear our 49ers shirts no matter who is playing!

Don't laugh at me! These are brown footballs, not leaves. They have the kids' names on them.
