GRIZZLIES HOCKEY

Feb. 19, 2014

Ashley called to let me know that she could get tickets for $5 to the GRIZZLIES HOCKEY GAME! Apparently they were letting students purchase them at that price. They also had hotdogs, drinks, fries, etc... for only $2. So we took Mason and Sarah, Jessica, Brody (it was his birthday!), and Reece. We were so pleasantly surprised to run into Stacy and her friend, Brandon there as well. She is such a cutie! Graham was going to come so we bought him a ticket. Then he called to say he couldn't come. Well, you know how they show kids dancing on the jumbo tron? Well, there was Graham with his friends dancing on the jumbo tron at the hockey game! The stinker chose to go with friends instead of us but didn't want to tell us. So funny! We caught him!

We had a fun time and I was so shocked at how well Remington and Reece did. Remi didn't squawk once. He was mesmerized and just kept staring at the action out on the ICE. Reece was so good too! She cried when we made a goal because they let out a VERY LOUD and VERY LONG TRAIN HORN! It scared her and the poor thing cried. Remi didn't cry until the last GOAL. Then he let out his lower lip and cried a little bit. Other than that those kids were amazing! This was a fun night and I am so glad we went.

REMINGTON'S TWO TEETH

Feb 2014

Remington cut TWO TEETH the week of Valentine's. He is 4 months old and is excited to start eating real food! A few more teeth and he'll be joining his Daddy eating steak, in no time! These pics are of him when we drove home from Vegas and stopped at Grandma Shirley's to pick up the car. He was so excited to see her and to get out of his carseat!

BILLY'S BELTS

Billy won his FIGHT in New Zealand. He won another BELT. He is getting quite the collection! He is really doing well in the RANKINGS. I am proud of his hard work.

He came home and made us a wonderful meal. He is such a great cook! Later in the evening he surprised Ashley by giving her a CROSSBOW and they went out and shot it at his targets in the backyard. Ashley loved it! Bill was so thankful for Ashley and her sacrifice to leave Lytton for 10 days to come watch his kids. She is such a great daughter and I am so proud of her.

This is one of our favorite meals Bill makes us when we eat at his house. His asparagus is SO good! It must be all that butter he cooks it in :)

Ashley was so excited when Bill pulled out the crossbows. She is so excited for this new toy. My kids are so in to weapons. What's up with that?

SLEDDING AT MT. CHARLESTON

We headed up to MOUNT CHARLESTON to take the kids SLEDDING even though Vegas was a balmy 80 degrees! It was hard for us to find SNOW up there but we found a shaded area with a good size patch of SNOW that was downhill and good for SLEDDING for the kids. We had a fun time and then we ate lunch in the LODGE. It was a nice day and then we headed back to pick Billy up from the airport.

THE VENETIAN

We spent the afternoon at the VENETIAN. This is hands down my favorite attraction on THE STRIP. I love it! I have always wanted to ride on a GONDOLA and had every intention to do it this time. However, the wait was much too long (2 hours!). That's what we get for trying to do it on VALENTINE'S weekend and PRESIDENT'S DAY weekend! It was pretty crowded. Well, we still had fun checking everything out. Imagine my happy surprise to find out that BUDDY VALASTRO (the Cake Boss), has opened up a restaurant in the VENETIAN! I will go there one day too!
