LAYTON CITY CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

I have been so excited to go see the LIGHTS at Layton Park. I finally got that chance! I get as excited as the kids do to see the LIGHTS. They added a new Snowman Family this year. It was just magical to see the excitement in Waylon and Boston's eyes. Boston was so excited to see JACK FROST blowing out the cold air! He loves that one. Waylon loved the big ELEPHANT. We drove through twice so they could see one side at a time. I love this fun CHRISTMAS TRADITION!
(Yes, we let the kids sit on our lap as we drive slowly around the park so they can see better!)

 I just love CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS! I GET SO EXCITED TOO! We sang CHRISTMAS SONGS the whole time too and it's fun to hear Waylon sing. He's so funny! He loves singing. Boston knows words to lots of CHRISTMAS CAROLS!

UGLY SWEATER/GINGERBREAD HOUSE PARTY

We had our Family UGLY SWEATER/GINGERBREAD HOUSE MAKING PARTY!! We held it at my Dad's house and it was a lot of fun. We made brunch since we were starting at 11:00. We had pancakes, blueberry waffles, scrambled eggs, fruit, bacon, sausage, OJ, etc...it was so good! Then we got down to the building of the GINGERBREAD HOUSES. Every year they get more and more creative. I love to see what they come up with next. Ashley and Lytt couldn't come because of the croup Remi was getting over, and Ashley's cold. I missed them! They always make creative creations!

This year I loved how creative Andy and Morgan was. They made a chocolate house out of Twix's and Hershey bars. It was sooo cute! Mikell, Zach and Boston made a huge house out of Graham Crackers and they had to put a "U" on the front of their house and Boston wanted them to put a mohawk on it so they did out of candy corn. Super cute!  Debbie made a Frozen castle. It was cute! Mona made a cute train, while her friends and Diane and Reed made cute houses pre-cut. Jess and Brody made a cute Graham Cracker house and Reece made the cutest Gingerbread Man! I brought cookies for Reece and Boston to decorate. They made Santa Hats and Snowmen. Super cute! Everyone did a fantastic job!

Ok so we about died when Grandma Shirley walked in. She makes her Ugly Sweater every year. She wins every time because they are really ugly. This one takes the cake! She hung old socks on her shirt with each person in our family attached to each of them. Now we know where Steven gets it. She loves to do a "Special Surprise" too.

WATCHING MY REMI AND PAISLEY

I was so excited to hear that Ashley and Lytton were going to a Christmas Party (Lytton's work party). Ashley could really use a night out and that means I get to watch Remington and Paisley! Remi is just getting over Croup and so we didn't want him around Waylon and Boston so I watched them at my mom's house. It takes two of us to watch them anyway. It's not that Remi is bad, he's just so curious and wants to get into everything! We were pooped by the end of the night! Paisley is perfectly content and just smiles the whole time! We had a super fun night with these kiddo's and oh I just can't tell ya how much I loved it when Remi was getting tired and just cuddled with me for the longest time. That's rare nowadays because he is the busiest kid ever! Super fun night tonight!!

 Oh how I love our little Paisley. She honestly is the happiest baby ever!

 This t-shirt is so true! Catch me if you can! Remi had me chasing him around Grandma Shirley's house all night. He thinks it is so funny! I definitely got my exercise this evening.

And just look at those thick, solid thighs of his. He is a huge kid!

I didn't have my camera out when little Paisley was all smiles. I tell ya she looks exactly like Ashley looked at this age. It's sort of weird to be seeing my baby all over again!

Here's a few pics of Remi and Paisley lovin' on each other. Paisley loves her brother! I'm serious! She gets so excited to see him and she wants to watch everything he does. Remi is super sweet with her giving lots and lots of loves and saying she's his sister!

They don't mind hanging out together while Paisley gets in some tummy time!
