BRIGGS' CHRISTMAS TRAIN

December 2019

Mikell took Briggs with her when she went to teach Preschool. They were making GINGERBREAD TRAINS. They are so dang cute! I love how Briggs is so focused. He loved making his TRAIN. When I was decorating cookies with him a few weeks ago, he was so intense on concentrating on how to spread that frosting perfectly. He really loves doing fun stuff like this, and he's pretty dang good at it too!

I take it he test tasted the candy! LOL!

STEVEN'S GIFT GIVING PARTY

Steven shops for us SIBLINGS all year round at the D.I. or Walmart. We never know what to expect. We each get 10-20 GIFTS WRAPPED in Newspaper with Masking Tape. He sure gets a thrill out of giving Diane U of U gear, Debbie Halloween stuff because her birthday is on Halloween, this year he gave me a lot of new games, but the best was what he gave Dad. He gave him a singing deer. It was hilarious!  Mom made a great meal and we spent several hours opening GIFTS but my favorite part was seeing Steven's SPECIAL SURPRISE!  He was so funny and we all got a kick out of him.

He was a CIRCUS ELEPHANT, then he took of the mask and he kept saying he was the FAT LADY. What made it funny too was that he had the costume on backwards and the saggy boobs were on his back. LOL! So funny!!

Steven's 1st SURPRISE:

 Each year we make a family "Toast"

 We laughed over this rat on a pumpkin Deb got. We turned it upside down and the price tag said $84.75 for the three pieces...there are 2 other pieces that go with that thing somewhere! I don't know how someone could pay more than a buck for that thing!

HOT CHOCOLATE PARTY AND NEW JAMMIES

Instead of giving the kiddo's their CHRISTMAS JAMMIES on Christmas Eve, I have started giving them at the beginning of the month so they can wear them all month. Today I combined giving them their JAMMIES, with a super fun HOT CHOCOLATE PARTY. I just go to Dollar Tree to get new MUGS, then STEPHEN'S CANDY CANE HOT CHOCOLATE, and regular MILK CHOCOLATE, MARSHMALLOWS, and WHIPPED CREAM. My favorite is the fun STIRRERS I buy at Target. They have a spoonful of CHOCOLATE AND CRUSHED CANDY CANE that melts when they STIR their HOT CHOCOLATE.

 

 

These are their new JAMMIES this year.

The kids had a blast and they LOVED playing with each other. I am still not moved into my house so we have my old table and then I got the wrong size bar stools so we sat on the floor.

We played a fun game too. It was like Bean Doozle.  Instead it is with CANDY CANES. If you spin and get blue, you take a taste of the blue candy cane and it will be either Blue Raspberry or Dirty Socks, if you land on Red you will get either Cherry or Onion, if you land on Green, you will get Green Apple or Fish.  I had a bag they can spit it out in if they get a yucky one. It was funny! These kiddo's loved playing this. Briggs kept biting into a candy cane and whether he got a yucky one or good one he kept saying, "GROSS!"

I sure love playing with these KIDDO'S. They sure make me happy!

BOSTON WINS THE TURKEY TUSSLE!

OK, I am telling you, WRESTLING stresses me out! I get the worst stomach ache watching Boston WRESTLE. He goes up against some really good kids and I can't handle it!

Today we went to Farmington to watch the TURKEY TUSSLE. Waylon didn't WRESTLE in this tournament.

Thank Goodness Boston totally dominated this TOURNAMENT. He was up against this really good kid from Idaho and I was a nervous wreck. We watched this kid WRESTLE and he was a tough one. Well, Boston came out and pinned him really quick and he won 1ST PLACE in the TURKEY TUSSLE. He won a MEDAL and a SINGLET. Way to go BOSTON!!

 This was his first match and he pinned the kid quick.

 Thank Goodness he WON THIS! I'm so PROUD of him for being so focused and listening to Zach and doing the things that he has practiced. This was just awesome!

 Boston gave his opponent a bloody nose as you can see here. These boys are all really good!
