After Gettysburg, we drove to HERSHEY, PENNSYLVANIA to take a tour there. We weren't going to the Amusement Park but I was so excited to see how they make the chocolate. I was sorely disappointed when I got there and they don't have those tours! So we bought tickets to this video and I thought maybe they'll show us a video how they produce the candy bars kind of like the cool shows on Mister Rodgers where they go to factories to show you how things are made. But no...it was a dumb cartoon for like 4 year olds. I was so disappointed! Then it got a little better when we got to do the taste testing. they tought us how to be a great taste tester. 1. Look at it. 2. Snap it in half. 3. Smell it 4. Taste it by letting it melt in your mouth...not chewing it. We got to taste different chocolates and vote on the different tastes we could taste such as vanilla, leather, some times leaves and some tasted fruity. It was kind of cool. But you know...been there done that. Not gonna go there again. i was a little disappointed!
