BOSTON'S SURGERY

November 16, 2012

Boston went to Primary Children's Hospital for his 6th and hopefully his last SURGERY on his KIDNEYS. You would never know that he had any physical problems at all, but this little guy has really been through
a lot! His SURGERY lasted 7 HOURS! The DOCTOR feels confident that it will be the FIX that we were hoping for. He will need one additional SURGERY to remove the STENTS from his URETERS in 6 weeks. We are so THANKFUL for everyone's THOUGHTS and PRAYERS in behalf of BOSTON. I also want to say how impressed I am with ZACH AND MIKELL. They are superb PARENTS! Boston had a real TOUGH time Saturday night and all of Sunday. I mean that day was HELL! Zach and Mikell were AWESOME! I am so THANKFUL for ASHLEY AND LYTTON and their SUPPORT. They came down to bring us FOOD and to help with a BLESSING. Boston was FINALLY able to EAT AND DRINK after 2 days of nothing! He is HOME now and is doing well. I am so THANKFUL for him! He is my little TOUGHY!
An hour or so after surgery. He was pretty out of it!
I did a self portrait shot and didn't get a good shot of us!
                                                   An emotionally exhausted Mommy!
I am proud of the great parents Zach and Mikell are
Grandma Suzie and the Boss Man!
Dad taking his turn at feeding. He drank so much after surgery and then nothing for the next few days!

                                                           FINALLY he falls asleep!
The day after surgery he was still on Morphine and just wanted me to hold him. I love it when he lets me just rock him!
An unhappy Boston. He just wanted to go home!
Grandma Shirley would cry when she would come up to visit. She hated seeing Boston like this!

He refused to sleep and then would fall back like this and sleep for 10 min. then he would get the shakes and it would wake him up. This was such a trying day!
Mikell would lean on Zach because she was so tired and Boston would wake up if she sat down or try to put him in the crib.
