FUN IN THE SUN

Stefanie and Jessica called me and Ashley and asked if we wanted to have some FUN in the WATER. Of course we did! We took my 2 SWIMMING POOLS over there and Stef bought a SLIP AND SLIDE and we had us some SUMMER FUN IN THE SUN! I was watching Boston while Mikell was at Girls camp and Zach was at work. I was so glad I had Boston so he could play with his COUSINS that he doesn't know very well. He kept talking about Reese and Hadley, Dane and Cord all day after that. He had fun running on the SLIP AND SLIDE and it was great because my Mom and Grandma came up to watch them PLAY and Debbie stopped by on her lunch break. What a fun day even though it was over 100 degrees!

 Boston takes a turn to run down the slide. It was a cool one cuz it had little sprinklers spraying the slide. So much fun!

 It looks like Boston meant to slide down the slip and slide, but in truth he just "slipped" !

 Cord was so nice to let Boston use his squirt gun. Boston loved it and kept squirting us!

PANGUITCH TRIP

Zach, Mikell and Boston went to PANGUITCH for the past week. They had a great time FISHING, and BOATING on their little FLOAT BOATS ( I don't remember what they are called). Boston loves the OUTDOORS as much as his parents so he was in heaven. He also got to play with his cousin Emmett who he adores! They had a fun time and caught lots of FISH. The funniest thing was when Boston FELL ASLEEP on the BOAT with Zach!

RIVER WALK

After church I took Steven to LOGAN to see Ashley and Lytton. They made us dinner and then we went on a BEAUTIFUL WALK by the RIVER. It had BRIDGES and lots of SHADE TREES that lined the path along the RIVER. It felt so good to get out and WALK after dinner and it was just fun. The dogs loved playing fetch in the WATER. They couldn't get enough!  The funniest thing was when we were taking pictures. Steven did not want to be in the PICTURE so he tried hiding in the BUSHES and then another time he tried running in front to get out of the picture. It is so funny that he hates his pic taken and what lengths he will go to, to get out of the picture. Funny guy!
We had a wonderful drive to Logan and Steven kept saying, "This was the best summer fun!" So, thanks Ashley and Lytton!

SIZZLIN' BURGERS

Zach and Mikell brought home HAMBURGERS for dinner. Boston immediately put his HAMBURGER  on his GRILL to get it "HOT!"  He even flipped it with the SPATULA and dug it in the middle to make sure it was done all the way! He is so FUNNY!

 He looks so serious checking to see if his meat is cooked all the way through :)

FATHER'S DAY

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! Today we went to visit GRANDPA TOM and had a BARBECUE. We had fun visiting and just spending the day together. After we ate we went outside and Boston showed us how well he could RIDE A SCOOTER! Seriously, that kid has BALANCING SKILLS. I have never seen a kid that YOUNG, ride so well! It is simply AMAZING! My Dad tried pushing Boston on the SCOOTER and Boston kept saying, "BOSTON'S TURN!" He wanted to do it by himself. It was so fun to watch him. He sure loves his PAPA TOM!

 I made CUPCAKES and COOKIES. My cookies look funky cuz I had to make my own pattern. Don't judge me! :)

ASHLEY IS 6 MONTHS PREGO!

Ashley is looking great at 6 MONTHS PREGNANT! She is starting to feel really good and she and Lytton are getting SO EXCITED to be PARENTS! I was happy that they were able to come down for FATHER'S DAY so we spend time with them and snap her 6 MONTH PIC :)

BIKING BUDDIES

Zach and Mikell love BIKING together. It's a FUN way for them to spend time together as a FAMILY (pulling Boston behind them) and a great way for them to EXERCISE. They look cute in their matching NEON SHIRTS!

500 STRAWBERRIES AND CUPCAKES

My Boss, Pat Beckstead, RETIRED this month. It was really hard on all of us. We threw her a really nice RETIREMENT PARTY. We DIPPED 500 CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRIES and DECORATED 500 CUPCAKES!  We served CHICKEN SALAD SANDWICHES and SKEWERS with CHEESE, TOMATOE AND BABY PICKLES. It all turned out really nice and it was DECORATED really cute! The whole thing was a great SUCCESS. We are truly going to miss Pat. She is an AMAZING woman. I have learned a lot from her and feel blessed to have known her so well, and to have been lead by her.
