CARAMEL APPLES!!

It's a TRADITION for us to make CARAMELED APPLES at our house! It was fun to have Bill and the kids there to join us. I was SO happy that Zach and Mikell were there too. I love my FAMILY!!
First you have to start with gathering all of the toppings: mini choc.chips, Reese's Pieces, pecans, Butterfingers, sprinkles, candy corn, etc...oh yeah, and top it with white chocolate!
Just getting the caramel ready. I'm so excited to make carameled apples! Mason in the back.
                                                           Zach, Suzanne, Mason and Bill
Mason and Graham patiently waiting for the caramel to cook.
Graham loves making treats. He was such a great helper. He liked his with sprinkles.
                                                           Ashley dips her apple
Me and Bill hurried and jumped into this pic with Zach and Mikell :)
Bill was pretty fancy with his decorating skills. Here he is adding white chocolate to his apple.
Zach and Mikell. Mikell likes hers just plain caramel.
Bills looked so good I obviously couldn't wait for a bite :)
Ashley's apple kept dripping tons of caramel. She's like what the heck?!!
Mason's turn. Notice the weird black mark my camera made on his face? It looks like he has a moustache!

I bought wrap around caramels for the little ones so they wouldn't get burned by the hot caramel
Zander showing us his nummy caramel apple
After everyone was done, Graham stayed in there to make another apple with white chocolate and Reese's pieces. He is patient when decorating cookies, cupcakes and apples. He loves to make this stuff!
Some of the final results. This was the next day. It looks like some of the caramel melted right off along with all the decorations on some! :(
Graham had to make one more!
