My cousin Maureen's boyfriend, Gary came in town from California for work. While here we all hooked up for dinner. We went to the Spaghetti Factory! One of my favorite places to eat. Everytime I go there I order the same thing: SPAGHETTI WITH MIZITHRA CHEESE AND BROWNED BUTTER! Oh, I love it!!
We had fun talking with Gary and even planned a potential trip on a HOUSEBOAT next year! We'll have to see if that pans out. It was very enjoyable night and it was great visiting with Gary!

SWIMMING WITH BILL AND THE KIDS
Bill and the kids were staying in a hotel in Bountiful this weekend. After painting my basement we went swimming. Bella has learned to swim by herself and does a great job! Zach took a lot of video there. It was so funny. We had a great night tonight even though we were exhausted!

THE PAINTS ON ME!
Zach, Bill and Nick (Mikell's brother) moved Zach and Mikell into my house from Las Vegas. Mikell and Boston stayed in Vegas until Boston's surgery. Zach moved everything into my garage because at the last minute we decided to PAINT MY BASEMENT. After we painted we went to Bill's hotel with his family and swam. The next day Zach drove home to Vegas with Bill. They'll move in after Boston's recovery from surgery.
When we painted I walked around the corner and Bill was using the PAINT SPRAYER and accidentally SPRAYED MY WHOLE FACE! I had a gallon of PAINT in my EAR! When we were almost done Bill came and SPRAYED my whole BUTT!
I went from white walls to TOASTED WHEAT colored walls. I was so grateful for the help. Nick was such a trooper spending all day unpacking, taping and painting!
I was covered in splattered paint!
Fuzzy pic but this is Bill spraying and Nick taping!
Zach and Nick pulling up the carpet and all the tack. I can't wait to get new carpet!
Nick working hard!

LOVIN' ON BOSTON
We had a lot of fun this weekend when Ashley, Zach, Mikell, Bill, Mason, Graham, Bella and Zander came to stay the weekend. We went to the Sizzler for Dad and Mona's Birthday, the boys' FOOTBALL games, made CARAMEL APPLES, visited with OLD FRIENDS, and of course...HELD BOSTON! Boston has been such a good boy to let everyone hold him and I mean for the last week he has been BOMBARDED with people wanting to hold him and he has been a real TROOPER! We're so LUCKY he is so good. Here are a few pics of us being with him. It was Mason and Graham's first time meeting their NEPHEW! and Bella and Zander were SO EXCITED to see him too!

JACK ROBINS' FUNERAL
Rick's dad passed away September 27th while he and Mary were on a dream vacation to IRELAND! Ashley felt bad because she had worked for Jack as his housekeeper for 7 years! She loved Jack and will miss him, and all of his war stories!
We attended the funeral on Monday, October 3rd. Rick did an AWESOME job speaking and Brody did a GREAT job with DEDICATING the grave. I was most impressed with Erin and Stef's kids. They were SO good the whole time during the funeral, and yesterday at BOSTON'S baby BLESSING. They were quiet and behaved so well. I took TONS of pics for Stef, Erin and Jess but I will only show you a few:
Grandma Shirley helps to entertain the great grandkids. They were all so good!

CARAMEL APPLES!!
It's a TRADITION for us to make CARAMELED APPLES at our house! It was fun to have Bill and the kids there to join us. I was SO happy that Zach and Mikell were there too. I love my FAMILY!!
First you have to start with gathering all of the toppings: mini choc.chips, Reese's Pieces, pecans, Butterfingers, sprinkles, candy corn, etc...oh yeah, and top it with white chocolate!
Just getting the caramel ready. I'm so excited to make carameled apples! Mason in the back.
Zach, Suzanne, Mason and Bill
Mason and Graham patiently waiting for the caramel to cook.
Graham loves making treats. He was such a great helper. He liked his with sprinkles.
Ashley dips her apple
Me and Bill hurried and jumped into this pic with Zach and Mikell :)
Bill was pretty fancy with his decorating skills. Here he is adding white chocolate to his apple.
Zach and Mikell. Mikell likes hers just plain caramel.
Bills looked so good I obviously couldn't wait for a bite :)
Ashley's apple kept dripping tons of caramel. She's like what the heck?!!
Mason's turn. Notice the weird black mark my camera made on his face? It looks like he has a moustache!
I bought wrap around caramels for the little ones so they wouldn't get burned by the hot caramel
Zander showing us his nummy caramel apple
After everyone was done, Graham stayed in there to make another apple with white chocolate and Reese's pieces. He is patient when decorating cookies, cupcakes and apples. He loves to make this stuff!
Some of the final results. This was the next day. It looks like some of the caramel melted right off along with all the decorations on some! :(
Graham had to make one more!
