A LITTLE HIKE

April 2016

The weather was perfect outside. I asked Zach and Kell if they wanted to go for a walk with me. Zach said, "We were going to head up to a little trail up Farmington Canyon. Come with us." So I did. It was a nice little hike. We got to see the raging waters coming down. It was so powerful! I could sit and watch it for hours! Waylon was so funny during the HIKE. He talked the entire time we HIKED! He walked most of it and rode on Zach's back for some of it too. Boston is a like a mountain goat. That kid loves to HIKE!  Just like his parents. He kept wanting to go up on these really steep paths that there would be no way I could do. So him and Zach would HIKE up them and come down to join us. I love that this family loves HIKING and being in the GREAT OUTDOORS!!

I love this nature loving family! Poor little Boston had just got sunscreen put on his face, then he climbed on all fours, and wiped his face and the dirt stuck to his face because of the lotion. Love my dirt lovin' kid!

 Waylon held hands with Mikell or me most of the way and talked non-stop! He is so funny!

                                    Boston is like a mountain goat. He goes fast and steep!

 I love the lessons Zach is teaching Boston about respecting and appreciating nature.

 I can't get enough of this water. I love watching it! The roar of the water was so loud.

AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR IN TRAINING

We went over to Farmington Elementary to practice some baseball with Boston. Afterwards he had to practice this awesome course for AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR! He is obsessed with it right now. He is getting so good at it too! I video taped a lot of it but took a few pics too! He likes it when I time him too!

 

 This thing he is walking on, tilts back and forth so he needs to have great balancing skills.

                        He hurdles over these tires as fast as he can. There like 8 sets of them.

                                Waylon had fun playing too. He loves going down the slides!

Waylon thinks he owns the slides and tells other kids as they try to get on the slide, "MINE!" "Laylon's (Waylon) slide!!  Little stinker! :)

PLAYING IN THE CHURCH PARKING LOT!

Before the Bastian's went home, Lytton needed to check the brakes on his diesel. We had him park it at the CHURCH PARKING LOT. The kids had a blast riding bikes and sitting in the diesel. I can't tell you how much I love it when all my Grandkids are playing together. I wish the Bastian's lived closer!!

Boston loves to ride fast on his bike and do tricks already. Geesh! He scares me!

Afterwards we went to my house and the kids played a little longer before the Bastian's went home.

DELAYED EASTER EGG HUNT

April 3, 2016

After Conference, we went to my house. We decided to have our FAMILY EASTER EGG HUNT since Ashley's family was sick on Easter. Zach and Waylon were feeling a bit better when we got there so we decided to go for it. Mikell was awesome and filled TONS OF EGGS with CANDY and I had a few bags of CANDY left so we hid them all in the front yard and gave out plastic bags for the kids to gather them in. They had a ball! Remington got bored after awhile and just wanted to play trucks in the dirt. We had so much fun and I can't tell you how much I love it when all the kiddo's are together. We have so much fun!

                                                       Go Waylon! Get those eggs!

 

 

 Remington wasn't in a big hurry to pick up eggs and candy! He is so funny!
