YOU'VE BEEN EGGED!

After the EASTER EGG HUNT, I took Boston to his GRANDPARENTS' homes. We filled EGGS with CANDY and scattered them on their lawn. I made a little sign and stuck it in the grass. It said, "YOU'VE BEEN EGGED!" Then we rang the doorbell and ran and hid. Boston was so excited to watch them come out and get so HAPPY for their special treats. Then he would run out and give them hugs and say HAPPY EASTER! Then he loved to help them gather all the EGGS. What a fun time we had doing this for his other GRANDPARENTS! Ashley was so good to videotape all of this. Boston loved doing this and it will be something we will never forget.

We also left some Reese's Eggs

Grandma Melanie was so happy to find out it was Boston that had "EGGED" her.

Grandpa Tom thought the Easter Bunny had left him all of these eggs.

What a surprise to find out it was Boston!

Boston ran and gave Mona a hug and then helped her open the eggs and put the candy in her apron.

Grandma Shirley was surprised too!

THE HUNT IS ON!

It has been many years since I have attended the Kaysville EASTER EGG HUNT. I was thrilled that I could take Boston this year. The night before me, Zach and Ashley prepped him for the BIG HUNT! We practiced so he would know what to do when we were at the EASTER EGG HUNT. He knew he would have to run fast and to get as many EGGS in his BASKET as he could. He was so EXCITED for the big day. Ashley and Remington came with me and Ash did a great job of video taping Boston's first EGG HUNT. We had so much fun! Boston did great and the best part was when we were walking to the car. Ashley noticed a little 6 year old girl crying because she didn't get any eggs. So Boston and I walked up to her and her mother and Boston wanted to give her 3 of his EGGS! I was so proud of him!

Boston was so excited for the Easter Egg Hunt to begin. He was going to use this bag I got for him but we found a basket was so much easier.

Ashley and Remington came with us. Ashley videotaped the whole thing for meZach and Kell.

Here's his stash! He got 10 eggs, but gave 3 away to a 6 year old that didn't get any eggs. What a good boy!

SUNDAY FUN DAY!

After CONFERENCE we had so much with the grandkids. Big Grandma and Grandma Shirley got a kick out of all the KIDDO'S. They had a BALLOON WAR, they WRESTLED and we had a lot of FAMILY FUN. I love days like these! I got lots of great video of Big Grandma with Remington that we will cherish forever.

She would laugh and say the funniest things. We sure enjoyed Big Grandma today!

Grandma Shirley couldn't get enough of Baby Waylon. He is the sweetest little guy!

Boston loved holding Remington on his shoulders while Ashley ran to catch up with them.

Balloon Wars were hysterical. I got great video of this. Boston, Zach, Lytton and Remington were crazy! Big Grandma and Grandma Shirley thought it was so funny!

They would seriously beat the crap out of each other with these balloons!

Then it was tackle Zach! Boston and Ashley wrestled and tickled him. My family loves to wrestle!

Kell lovin' on Waylon. Honestly, I can hardly get enough of this little guy.

GIRLS NIGHT OUT CARD PARTY

While the Guys were at the PRIESTHOOD SESSION, us GIRLS went to my Mom's to have a CARD PARTY. We decided to make MEXICAN FOOD. It turned out so nummy. We had fun playing GARBAGE and NERTS. I loved playing NERTS! We haven't played that in years and we played in teams. Me and Mona totally kicked everyone's trash. Seriously, we won by over 100 :)

I made baked beef chimichangas, Jessica made 7 layer dip, Ashley made homemade churros, Debbie made Mexican rice, and Mexican drinks, Mona made some walnut treats, Diane and Morgan brought chips and salsa and Mom supplied our caffeine!

I got to use my plates and bowl I put together last month.

I had a fun night with these ladies!

CONFERENCE WEEKEND

I love CONFERENCE WEEKEND! Seriously, it's one of my favorite weekends of the year. Not only do I look forward to hearing from our LIVING PROPHET and APOSTLES, but I love spending time with my FAMILY and I love hangin' out in my JAMMIES all day on Sunday! It's just the best!

This year I made a bunch of fun stuff for Boston to open when each APOSTLE spoke. I made a ton of stuff that he could take to help him be more REVERENT in SACRAMENT MEETING. I made little books, puzzles, matching games, and reuseable coloring books about JESUS (with washable crayons). Of course I included lots of treats too.

We started with our TRADITIONAL breakfast of BELGIAN WAFFLES with strawberries, whipped cream and syrup. And this year we didn't get to hear too much of CONFERENCE because of the KIDDO'S. Good thing I DVR'D it so I can watch it later. After CONFERENCE I made some baked chimichangas to take to our Girls Night Out and card party at my moms. More on that on my next post. In between sessions I made MEALS for our 72 HOUR KITS.

Sunday's conference was awesome. I did get to take notes and it was just awesome. I received some answers to some things I had questions too. I am so grateful that. I invited my Mom and Grandma to come join us for the last session and for dinner. We grilled beef and chicken kabobs and of course Ashley's famous chocolate chip cookies. I enjoyed this day so much with all the kids and Tanner and Cassie and my mom and Grandma. We had a wonderful afternoon! I look forward to more in 6 months.

CONFERENCE HANDOUT

I made these M&M CONFERENCE HANDOUTS for my kids, and my sisters. I want them to prepare themselves for CONFERENCE next week. I want them to think of a question that they want answers to so that they will be in tune next week and hopefully will be able to get that answer. I look so forward to hearing from our beloved PROPHET and his APOSTLES. It's something I look forward to every 6 months. I look forward to our TRADITIONAL BREAKFAST with BELGIAN WAFFLES and STRAWBERRIES. I can't wait!!

WOMENS CONFERENCE

Ashley got a few tickets to go to the CONFERENCE CENTER to see the WOMENS CONFERENCE. I was so excited to go. I made us each a notebook with this years theme, and then some cute little note paper to go inside.

Diane, Debbie and Jessica came with us too. It ended up being a wonderful evening. It was an historic day because at this particular conference they allowed girls 8 years old and older to attend instead of having separate conferences for Young Women and one for Relief Society. The feeling inside the CONFERENCE CENTER was awesome. It's just so great being there in real life. All of the messages were uplifting and edifying. I am so THANKFUL for my membership in the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS. I am so THANKFUL for the KNOWLEDGE I have of HEAVENLY FATHER'S PLAN so that I can return to him someday. What a great BLESSING it is to belong to HIS CHURCH. It all makes perfect sense to me and makes me want to be a better person because of it. I loved having my SISTERS, my NIECE and my beautiful DAUGHTER there with me to enjoy it. Afterwards, we went to eat at Applebee's. What a great night! I cannot wait for CONFERENCE next weekend!!
