GINGERBREAD HOUSE CONTEST

December 8, 2012

I had planned to have a FUN GINGERBREAD HOUSE CONTEST and UGLY SWEATER PARTY at my Dad's house but oh my goodness! I was SO SICK! I was so bummed out that I could not participate :(  But I think everyone had a great time and they did a GREAT JOB on their HOUSES and of course the UGLY SWEATERS were very UGLY! Ashley and Lytton won the GINGERBREAD CONTEST. They built the SALT LAKE TEMPLE! It was amazing! Andy and Morgan made a DOUBLE WIDE TRAILER. It was so funny! Jess and Brody made a cute house and Deb and Paul made what I like to call a chalet. That is being nice! Just kiddin' it was cute. It just fell apart but they still did a great job! Then Ash won the UGLY SWEATER CONTEST! Ok so here are a few of the UGLY SWEATERS:
                                                                   Ashley and Lytton

Brody and Reece...of course Reece doesn't own anything that's UGLY!
                                                                Ashley and Jessica
My mom and grandma...My mom always knows how to accessorize...check out the earrings and her lovely bow!
Is Jessica wearing Debbie's old sweatshirt? Ha ha!

Ok, now on for a look at the cute GINGERBREAD HOUSES they made:
Reece helping Mona get started as Big Grandma looks on
Jessica looks excited to get hers rockin' and rollin'  and Morgan and Andy have a plan!
The whole gang working on their houses

Lytton should be an architect! His and Ashley's turn out amazing!
Debbie, Paul and Diane work really hard on their projects
Mona's turned out so cute but she bought one already pre-cut with instructions! Is that cheating?
Diane decorated a Christmas tree instead of a house. It turned out cute!
Here is Andy and Morgans finished project...a DOUBLE WIDE TRAILER! HA! HA!

Ashely and Lytton did a fantastic job on the SL Temple! I couldn't believe they even had the Angel Moroni!

Jessie and Brody's turned out really cute!
Debbie and Paul had some issues but it turned out really cute!

I have such a TALENTED FAMILY!!

IT'S JAZZ TIME BABY!

I was SO EXCITED and SHOCKED to get a call from my BOSS, Pat asking me if I would like to go with her to the JAZZ GAME. Of course I did! She has SEASON TICKETS and her husband couldn't go so she asked me. I LOVED IT! It was a great game and we played THE LA CLIPPERS. She has great seats and it is always so much more fun to see things in person. I was so grateful that she asked me! I had a lot of FUN! Zach made me wear his JAZZ HOODIE!      Here we are:
I am pretty sure she wasn't surprised at all when I had her pose for a pic with me!
Don't worry, there were a lot more people at the game. This was taken while they were warming up. The seats were totally filled :)
                                                                            GO JAZZ!

TURKEY TIME

November 2012

We had THANKSGIVING at Debbie's. We had lots of nummy FOOD and we tried out some new recipes that turned out great! It was fun to spend time with FAMILY and Debbie made up a cute game for us to play to get to know our ANCESTORS and our PARENTS and GRANDPARENTS. We learned a lot of FUN FACTS about our FAMILY MEMBERS. I only took a few pictures!

BOSTON'S SURGERY

November 16, 2012

Boston went to Primary Children's Hospital for his 6th and hopefully his last SURGERY on his KIDNEYS. You would never know that he had any physical problems at all, but this little guy has really been through
a lot! His SURGERY lasted 7 HOURS! The DOCTOR feels confident that it will be the FIX that we were hoping for. He will need one additional SURGERY to remove the STENTS from his URETERS in 6 weeks. We are so THANKFUL for everyone's THOUGHTS and PRAYERS in behalf of BOSTON. I also want to say how impressed I am with ZACH AND MIKELL. They are superb PARENTS! Boston had a real TOUGH time Saturday night and all of Sunday. I mean that day was HELL! Zach and Mikell were AWESOME! I am so THANKFUL for ASHLEY AND LYTTON and their SUPPORT. They came down to bring us FOOD and to help with a BLESSING. Boston was FINALLY able to EAT AND DRINK after 2 days of nothing! He is HOME now and is doing well. I am so THANKFUL for him! He is my little TOUGHY!
An hour or so after surgery. He was pretty out of it!
I did a self portrait shot and didn't get a good shot of us!
                                                   An emotionally exhausted Mommy!
I am proud of the great parents Zach and Mikell are
Grandma Suzie and the Boss Man!
Dad taking his turn at feeding. He drank so much after surgery and then nothing for the next few days!

                                                           FINALLY he falls asleep!
The day after surgery he was still on Morphine and just wanted me to hold him. I love it when he lets me just rock him!
An unhappy Boston. He just wanted to go home!
Grandma Shirley would cry when she would come up to visit. She hated seeing Boston like this!

He refused to sleep and then would fall back like this and sleep for 10 min. then he would get the shakes and it would wake him up. This was such a trying day!
Mikell would lean on Zach because she was so tired and Boston would wake up if she sat down or try to put him in the crib.
