THE DRIVE TO YELLOWSTONE

Aug. 7, 2014

I went with Zach and Mikell and the kids to YELLOWSTONE this year on Mikell's family's annual trip.  It was so much fun. I love being there. It is so beautiful and we went to some  different places I hadn't been to before in the park. It was so nice of her family to let me come. I really enjoyed it.

This post is about the drive to Yellowstone. We stopped in West Yellowstone to have some lunch. Mikell and Zach wanted a BUFFALO BURGER. I just wanted a chili cheese dog. Take a look at thing! I couldn't believe it!  We walked around and did some shopping too while we were there.

I learned something new. Don't think I am stupid, but I thought YELLOWSTONE was in Wyoming. Did you know it is in MONTANA too? I didn't!
We left at 5:45 a.m. and met Nick and Sam so they could follow us down there. Mikell sat in the back between the boys the whole way. We were worried about Waylon screaming the whole way but with her back there he did awesome!
I had to take a selfie with my little Waylon while I was waiting for them to fuel up. I Love him to pieces!
                                                            Cutest little cowboy ever!
                                                              Check out the humongous hotdog!
Zach and Mikell gettin' their Buffalo Burgers!
Sam and Nick got one too. Everyone loved them!

Boston ridin' the bear. He loves his new cowboy hat and boots!
Zach getting some kisses and loves from Waylon
The two Mommies. Hopin' this week of camping won't be terrible with the little ones.
Here we are in West Yellowstone. Boston wasn't ornery he just won't look at the camera.
I learned that West Yellowstone was in Montana. I thought it was all in Wyoming! Surprise!

HANGIN' WITH THE FAM

Aug. 2, 2014

We always love it when Joyce and Jenny fly in to town. I spend as much time with them as I can. We miss them so much and cannot wait for them to move here! Can you imagine all of the FUN we will have when they are here?!!  But because it was Grandma's big birthday, Jared flew in too! It has been years since we have seen him and boy, have we missed him. Everyone loves Jared. He is everyone's favorite. It was so awesome to hang out with him. We hope to see more of him, more often!! :)
These pics are just random ones of us hanging out.

Big Grandma...the party animal. She was exhausted after the end of this day though!

We FINALLY got to meet Gina, Steven's girlfriend. She brought over a nice card and some pretty flowers for Grandma's birthday. Her daughter is on the left.

Steven was the most quiet I have ever seen him, being on his best behavior cuz Gina was there! He didn't even freak out when I kept taking pics of him. He usually gets so mad and says he is going to break my camera. He just sat there even though I know he was irritated with me. Under his breath he said, "knock it off Punky!"
Joyce and Grandma. Joyce had to keep reminding Grandma of who she was. She hopes she won't forget her.

FUNNY FACES

Aug. 2, 2014

After Grandma's 100th Birthday Party, some of us went back to Grandma Shirley's to hang out. Erin and Tyler came too. I am so glad they did. I had a ton of fun hangin' out with Jackson, Channing and Rylee. I let Channing play with my camera and he took about 100 pics with it. We pulled all sorts of CRAZY FACES and can I just say I LOVE THESE KIDS! I wish they didn't live so far away!
                                                                  Fishy kisses!
Someone's learning how to go cross-sided and take selfies! Good job Jackson!

Oh how I love this little guy! Channing melts my heart. He has the cutest face!
Diane gets in on the action too.
This one just cracks me up!

GRANDMA IS 100 YEARS OLD!!

Aug. 2, 2014

My Grandma, Aurina Johnina Cozza Hobbs turned 100 YEARS OLD on Aug. 5, 2014. We CELEBRATED her big day on Aug. 2, 2014. Joyce, Jenny and Jared flew in, Stef and John and their family was there, Erin and Tyler and their family was there and of course all of the relatives that live in Utah were there too. Joyce and I planned her PARTY and it turned out really nice. I stressed way too much over the decorations because they just weren't what I had in mind, but they ended up being just fine. I made a TIMELINE from 1914 to 2014. Grandma sure has witnessed a lot in her 100 years from World Wars, the Great Depression to all of the awesome inventions that have taken place since her birth. It's truly incredible. She was a great sport all day and she got a kick out of her Golfing friends that showed up for her party too. Joyce ordered her cake, make copies of all of the pics of her and we put them on the tables. Everyone was able to take the ones they wanted as a favor. We also had a bag of M&M's with her pic on them in little bags as a favor as well. Joyce read Grandma's LIFE SKETCH and had everyone in the room crying. Jessica lined up a caterer and Erin found us a meeting room in the Best Western Cotton Tree Inn. Jessica also had her friend, who is a photographer, come and take pics of everyone with Grandma. We all wrote a favorite MEMORY of Grandma and Joyce is going to put their pic with the memory in a book for Grandma.

I am just thrilled that Grandma made it to 100 YEARS OLD. It has been so much fun having her around for so long. I am so lucky to have all of the wonderful memories of Grandma in my life. I am so grateful that my Grandchildren know their Great, Great Grandma and that I have a lot of pics and videos of them with her. Isn't that so cool?  There isn't anything I love more than my FAMILY and I was so happy that we were all together CELEBRATING this beautiful lady! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA!

I took a lot more pics but decided not to post all of them. I didn't take as many as you'd think, knowing me, but I figure we could all get copies of the good ones the photographer took :)

JULY FAMILY B-DAYS

July 27, 2014

We went to my Dad's to CELEBRATE the JULY B-DAYS. It was Beau, Diane, and Boston's Birthdays. Since we had cake at Boston's party yesterday, we had brownies and ice cream. We were so happy that Erin and her kids were still in town to help us CELEBRATE!

Zach was such a great sport. He was wrestling with all of the kids. They loved it! He got a real good work out!

Andy is so cute with all of the babies. Here he is holding Waylon. Waylon is getting so big!
Andy took his turn wrestling with the kids. They wiped him out too!
This was so funny! Poor Andy couldn't move with all of those kids hanging on his legs!
This little sweetie loves to watch the kids but gets nervous when they start wrestling around!
